00:00Abu Khalid, Sulaiman bin Hayyan Ahmar narrated from Abu Malik Ashtai'i,
00:07Munun-e-Sa'ad bin Ubaidah,
00:09Munun-e-Hazrat Ibn-e-Umar R.A.
00:12and he narrated from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
00:17The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said,
00:21The foundation of Islam is based on five things.
00:24To give Allah the One and Only.
00:27To perform Salat.
00:29To pay Zakat.
00:31To fast in Ramadan.
00:33And to perform Hajj.
00:35One person said,
00:37To perform Hajj and to fast in Ramadan.
00:41Ibn-e-Umar R.A. said,
00:43No, to fast in Ramadan and to perform Hajj.
00:48I heard this from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH in the same way.
01:02Yahya bin Zakariya narrated the Hadith.
01:05He said,
01:06Abu Malik Ashtai'i narrated the Hadith.
01:11He narrated from Ibn-e-Umar R.A.
01:14He narrated from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
01:18The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said,
01:21The foundation of Islam is based on five things.
01:24To give Allah the One and Only.
01:27To perform Salat.
01:30To pay Zakat.
01:33To perform Hajj.
01:36And to fast in Ramadan.
01:45Asim bin Muhammad bin Zahir Abdullah bin Umar narrated the Hadith from his father.
01:51He said,
01:52Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar R.A. said,
01:55The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said,
01:59The foundation of Islam is based on five things.
02:02To give Allah the One and Only.
02:13To perform Salat.
02:16To pay Zakat.
02:19To perform Hajj.
02:22And to fast in Ramadan.
02:33Ikrimah bin Khalid narrated the Hadith from his uncle.
02:36He said,
02:38Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar R.A. said,
02:41Do you not take part in Jihad?
02:44He replied,
02:46Without a doubt, I heard from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
02:50He said,
02:52The foundation of Islam is based on five things.
02:55To give Allah the One and Only.
03:01To perform Salat.
03:03To pay Zakat.
03:05To fast in Ramadan.
03:07To perform Hajj.
03:09Sahih Muslim.
03:11Hadith number 114.
03:15Khalaf bin Hisham narrated the Hadith.
03:18He said,
03:19Hammad bin Zaid narrated the Hadith from Abu Jamra.
03:22He said,
03:23I heard from Abdullah bin Abbas R.A.
03:27Nis,
03:28Yahya bin Yahya said,
03:30These are his words.
03:32Abbad bin Abbad informed Abu Jamra
03:35that Hazrat Ibn Abbas R.A. said,
03:38Abdul Qais's delegation came to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
03:44They said,
03:46O Messenger of Allah!
03:48We are a tribe of Banu Rabi'ah.
03:51The disbelievers of the tribe of Muzar are among us and you.
03:56We cannot reach you without the permission of Allah.
04:01Therefore,
04:02give us a command that you will follow.
04:05Invite those who are behind you.
04:08The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said,
04:11I command you four things and forbid you four things.
04:16I command you to believe in Allah.
04:20Then you explained the belief in Allah in front of them.
04:24He said,
04:25Testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah.
04:30And Muhammad PBUH is certainly the Messenger of Allah.
04:36Perform Salah.
04:38Pay Zakat.
04:40And pay the fifth part of the spoils of war.
04:46And I forbid you the utensils of the pumpkin,
04:49the green pots,
04:50the utensils made by digging from the wood,
04:53and the use of such utensils on which charcoal has been applied.
04:58The Khalifa added in his narration,
05:01Testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah.
05:07He counted it with the index of his finger.
05:17Shu'ba narrated a hadith from Abu Jamrah.
05:21He said,
05:22I was a translator between Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas R.A. and other people.
05:28A woman came to him.
05:30She was asking about the Prophet of which era.
05:33Hazrat Ibn Abbas R.A. replied,
05:37A delegation of Abdul Qais came to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
05:43The Prophet Muhammad PBUH asked,
05:46Who is this delegation?
05:48Or he said,
05:49Who are these people?
05:51He said,
05:52They are from the tribe of Rabiha.
05:54He said,
05:55Welcome this nation or delegation.
05:58Do not be embarrassed.
06:00Ibn Abbas R.A. said,
06:03They said,
06:04O Messenger of Allah,
06:06We come to you from far away.
06:09This tribe of the disbelievers of Muzar is between us and you.
06:14We cannot come to you except for a month of prohibition.
06:18You tell us the decision.
06:20Which we tell people in our homes.
06:23And through it, we will enter paradise.
06:26Ibn Abbas R.A. said,
06:29You commanded these four things.
06:32And stopped with four things.
06:34You commanded them to believe only in Allah.
06:37And asked,
06:38Do you know what it is to believe only in Allah?
06:42He said,
06:43Allah and His Messenger are the most knowledgeable.
06:48He said,
06:50To bear witness that there is no god but Allah.
06:55And Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
07:00To establish prayer.
07:02To give zakat.
07:03To fast in Ramadan.
07:05And that you should pay five times as much as you owe.
07:10And give them utensils made of dry pot.
07:13Green pots.
07:14Green pots.
07:15And charcoal-mixed utensils.
07:19Shobha said,
07:20Abu Jamra may have said,
07:22Naqeer.
07:23That is, the utensils made by carving in wood.
07:26Or maybe,
07:27Muqayyar.
07:28That is, the charcoal-mixed utensils.
07:31And the Prophet said,
07:33Remember them well.
07:35And tell your followers.
07:38In the narration of Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaiba,
07:41Instead of,
07:45That is, tell them what are the words behind you.
07:48And in their narration,
07:50Muqayyar is not mentioned.
07:52Rather, Naqeer is mentioned.
07:54Sahih Muslim.
07:55Hadith number 116.
08:00Qurra bin Khalid narrated a hadith from Abu Jamra.
08:03He told Hazrat Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him,
08:07And he narrated a hadith from the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
08:10Like the previous narration of Shobha.
08:13These are his words.
08:15The Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
08:18I forbid you from that Prophet,
08:21Which is made from dry pumpkin utensils,
08:23Wood-carved utensils,
08:25Green pots,
08:26And charcoal-mixed utensils.
08:29There is a risk of more yeast in it.
08:32Which turns the Prophet into alcohol.
08:35Ibn Muaz has added to his father's narration.
08:38That the Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with him,
08:41The man with the wound on the forehead of Abdul Qais,
08:44That is,
08:45He said to Ashad,
08:47You have two qualities,
08:49Which Allah likes,
08:51Reason,
08:52And patience.
08:54Sahih Muslim.
08:56Hadith number 117.
09:00Ismail Ibn Ulayya said,
09:02Said bin Abi Aruba narrated a hadith from Qatada.
09:06He said,
09:07I was told by the person
09:09Who was present at the service of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with him,
09:13Abdul Qais's descendant.
09:16Said said,
09:17Qatada had taken the name of Abu Nazra.
09:20They had met by chance.
09:22And he listened to the details from Abu Sa'id and narrated.
09:25He narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudali, may Allah be pleased with him,
09:29That some people of Abdul Qais
09:31Came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with him,
09:35And said,
09:36O Messenger of Allah,
09:38We are the people of Rabi'ah.
09:40Among us and you
09:42Are the disbelievers of Muzar.
09:44And we,
09:45Except for the month of Hormat,
09:47Cannot reach your service.
09:49Therefore,
09:50You give us that command,
09:52Which we tell our ancestors.
09:54And if we act on it,
09:56Then we will all enter Paradise.
09:58The Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
10:02I command you of four things.
10:05And I forbid you of four things.
10:07That is, I command you
10:08To worship Allah.
10:10And do not associate anyone with Him.
10:13Do not pray.
10:15Give zakah.
10:17Fast in Ramadan.
10:19And pay the fifth share of the spoils.
10:22And I forbid you of four things.
10:24From the pot of dry pumpkin.
10:26From the green pot.
10:28From such a pot,
10:29Which has been coated with tarqul,
10:32And naqeer,
10:33That is,
10:34From the pot of wood.
10:36Those people said,
10:38O Prophet of Allah,
10:40What do you know about naqeer?
10:42He said,
10:43Why not?
10:44It is tar.
10:46You make it hollow from inside.
10:48You put small dates in it.
10:51Then you put water in it.
10:53Then when its heat,
10:54That is,
10:55After the dawn,
10:56The heat is over.
10:57Then you drink it.
10:59To the extent that one of you,
11:01Or one of them,
11:03Makes his uncle a target of the sword.
11:06Abu Sa'id said,
11:08There was a man among the people,
11:10Who had a wound like this.
11:12He said,
11:13Because of my shame,
11:15I was hiding it from the Messenger of Allah.
11:19Then I asked,
11:21O Messenger of Allah,
11:23So what should we drink?
11:25The Prophet said,
11:28Drink from those skins,
11:30Whose mouths are tied with threads.
11:33The people of the delegation said,
11:35O Messenger of Allah,
11:37There are a lot of rats in our land.
11:39They cannot escape the skin.
11:42The Prophet of Allah said,
11:45Even if they are eaten by rats.
11:48Even if they are eaten by rats.
11:51Even if they are eaten by rats.
11:53He said,
11:54Then the Messenger of Allah said,
11:57To the man of Abdul Qais,
11:59Whose face had a wound,
12:02You have two such qualities,
12:05Which Allah likes.
12:08Allah says,
12:10Mind and patience.

12:15Hadith number 118
12:18Ibn Abi Adi narrated from Qatada about Sa'id.
12:23He said,
12:25More than one person told me about Abdul Qais's delegation.
12:30And he named him Abu Nazra.
12:33Abu Nazra narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudari.
12:37When Abdul Qais's delegation came to the Prophet of Allah.
12:43Then he narrated according to the Hadith of Ibn Ulayya.
12:47However,
12:48He has these words.
12:50You put dates in it,
12:53Regular dates,
12:54And water.
12:56And Ibn Abi Adi did not mention these words in his narration.
13:01Sa'id said,
13:02Or the Prophet of Allah said,
13:05You put dates in it.

13:10Hadith number 119
13:12Abu Qaza'a reported that Abu Nazra told him and Hassan.
13:19That Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudari told Abu Nazra.
13:24That when Abdul Qais's delegation came to the Prophet of Allah.
13:30Then he said,
13:31O Prophet of Allah!
13:32May Allah sacrifice us to you.
13:35Which of the things to drink is right for us?
13:38You replied,
13:39Do not drink the utensils of hollowed wood.
13:43He said,
13:44O Prophet of Allah!
13:45May Allah sacrifice us to you.
13:48Do you also know what is Naqeer?
13:51He said,
13:52Yes,
13:53The trunk of the tree,
13:54Which is hollowed in the middle.
13:57In the same way, do not drink the utensils of the dry pumpkin and the green pot.
14:01However,
14:02Accept the muskies with their mouths closed.
