00:00South Africa all the way early on, New Zealand-Baldwell with a new ball, they had some chances, they
00:10didn't quite take them and then Hashim Hamla started to play well along with Quentin de
00:15Kock and that was the first of an opportunity to get rid of Hashim Hamla, nicely driven
00:21by Quentin de Kock through the onside and then more runs for him through the offside
00:26and then a straight dive down the ground and the breakthrough New Zealand 1 and Quentin
00:32de Kock trying to hit that ball too hard ended up hitting across the line and then it was
00:37Hashim Hamla who really got into his stride, he's got his feet going, his timing ticked
00:41up, he scored both sides of the wicket and he was in control of the innings, he was well
00:47backed up by Faf du Brésil who's had a wonderful time in international cricket of late, it
00:53was a brilliant partnership they involved in, excellent way to bring up his 50 Hashim
00:58Hamla and that one just didn't carry, that was Faf du Brésil off the outside edge, New
01:06Zealand at this stage badly needed a wicket and then it was 54 Faf du Brésil as well,
01:12a demanding partnership followed that up with some magnificent stroke play and then as soon
01:21as that batting tile play came about Faf du Brésil got out first delivery, David Avilés
01:28stepped up the pace, he was in control from the beginning, plays aggressively as he often
01:33does, takes the game away from the opposition, combined very well with Hashim Hamla as well
01:40and at this stage it looked like South Africa were set to get 300 or perhaps even 320, they
01:46were in complete control and things started to go wrong, David Avilés tried to hit that
01:52over mid wicket, got a leading edge straight up in the air, Gronky made no mistake and then
01:58two established players falling within a short space of time but not before Hamla got his
02:05century and a magnificent one it was, struck a couple more boundaries after getting to that
02:12hundred, that was off the outside edge and then Hamla tried to run that down to third man so this
02:21had two new batsmen at the crease and that was a problem for South Africa, that was first JP
02:27Dumini who hit a few, that was over mid-off, and he was out over w to a good piece of bowling by
02:34Cenk Bol, the slower delivery went upstairs but there was no doubt this over w decision was a
02:41good change of pace and then it started to turn in favor of New Zealand, Kylian Rousseau the very
02:49first ball he faced, tried to clear that mid wicket boundary but couldn't and then Philander
02:53tried to do exactly the same thing, he got a top edge as well and it was an amazing and an
02:59incredible fight back by the Black Caps, that was Dale Steyn and South Africa were disappointed
03:07with the way their innings finished, they were well on target for a score of 300 plus.
03:12282 for 9, we were all thinking 310 maybe at one stage so it was down to the last pair and
03:22then this did represent a good fight back, some of these bowlers copped a bit of tap but fought
03:27back with some confidence to take into the next game, 2 for 70 for Bolt, 2 for 50 for Sally,
03:33they're quite impressive at the top of the innings and McGlynn again 2 for 49, a little bit
03:38of gut to them there as well as Anderson as well as Nishim, so that is the equation, it's a tough one.
