00:13Your home was featured recently in a magazine feature.

00:17You have heirloom pieces when it comes to your design and also of course your designer pieces.

00:25When it comes to styling your home, what is the most important thing that you have to do in your interiors?

00:32Bear in mind, maybe it has to really be who you are.

00:36You really have to feel at home, you really have to feel comfortable.

00:40I love the way minimalist looks on Instagram, on Pinterest, but truly it's not who I am.

00:47So I try it out, but I'm not happy.

00:50It's like dressing up, what you put there has to have a story, it has to have a connection.

00:56So it may look cluttered for other people, but if it looks beautiful for you, that's what's important.

01:02There are no rules, you don't have to, for it to look rich or for it to look lux, this is what Instagram says.

01:09No, it's how you think it'll look beautiful, that's what's important.

01:14One would be the placement of the carpet and what exact shade of white you need.

01:20No matter how limited the space you have, when you have a lot of white or off-whites, it always makes it look spacious.

01:31A clear glass table would also be ideal, you don't want to keep putting solid structures in your house, it'll limit the space.

01:41Number three, try to create a space that has high ceilings.

01:45You can always do that with a little bit of renovation.

01:48Even if it's just the middle that's high, there are those styles.

01:52Number four would be beveled mirrors, always a must.

01:58Try not to be shy with the size, the bigger the better.

02:02Maybe floor to ceiling would be ideal.

02:05Number five, I love playing with curtains.

02:10If you have a studio, I have that actually.

02:13It's not a studio, it's more like a two-bedroom.

02:16But for the living room, I made it a bedroom.

02:20So I just put a nice curtain, a sheer, double curtain that's solid and sheer.

02:25So you just kind of place it, it looks delicate and then it's open space and you have more kind of dimensions in your apartment.

02:34Well, first is life lesson, don't pressure yourself too much.

02:38I know that's hard to do a day at a time.

02:41Focus on your health, health is wealth.

02:44You will earn it eventually.

02:46Number two, whenever you have your place, don't be pressured what you see on social media.

02:52It's all about building your collection.

02:54So maybe invest on, well you don't have to because when you purchase RLC, you already have the ref, the lights are perfectly done.

03:04Even like the bathroom, the things that you don't think about, the drainage, plumbing is perfect now.

03:11So maybe it would be like when you build your collection, look at it.

03:16It's not about how beautiful it would look or like the sofa, it's slowly building it

03:23because each piece should have a story.

03:25It doesn't have to look good.

03:27You don't, I mean, aspirational isn't like instant being rich.

03:34It's the story, it's the journey, so that's the same with your home.

03:38So never be pressured about how it looks, it has to look 100%, no.

03:43Just focus on the story and the feeling of, I was able to purchase this slowly.

03:51Take things slowly, even with your home.

04:00Actually, that's always a struggle for me when it's Christmas.

04:04Because I love Christmas and I do love the Christmas tree.

04:07But there are a lot of garlands, a lot of decorations.

04:11Sometimes the glitter gets in the way.

04:13So I hate glitter in the house because it gets in the way.

04:17After one week, the glitter gets in your face. I hate that.

04:21I love good whites, I love neutral colors.

04:26My favorite spot in my house would be the second floor.

04:29I have a small living room and all of my, I call it anik-anik or abloids are there.

04:35And I feel like I can look at my whole life in that one room.

04:40So I like sometimes like a very intimate space.

04:43I don't like so much a big, big house because I get lonely fast.
