00:00You said you've been in the industry for 19 years, in ABS-CBN, and your series really attracts people, there are advocacies.

00:09And what you did recently, rescuing the victims of the flood, after that, did anyone offer you to join politics?

00:20Because they think that Gerald is a hero.

00:24You know, in the comments, there are people who see me, but it's like that, right? We can help each other.

00:30I'm so blessed, I'm so blessed that you're here because, you know, I've been in the industry for 19 years,

00:37the media helped me a lot, for me, for my shows, for my projects.

00:41I'm okay with this because I still have the opportunity to help others.

00:47So, that's also one of my motivations, to work harder, to maintain or to keep my celebrity status because it's a big help.

01:01As much as possible, I'm using it in the right way.

01:04But what holds you back from joining politics? Because there are a lot of artists who have to expand their advocacy to join politics.

01:13Well, I admit that I also have friends who are politicians.

01:17I also talked to them because of the other projects that I did.

01:23The power is really there.

01:25If you really want to help and be more impactful, the power is really there.

01:30The opportunities are there.

01:32But I'm just lucky because, because of my celebrity status, the power and influence is also there.

01:38And I'm using it in the right way.

01:40Look, I mean, if I'm not an artist, do you think what I did will be trending?

01:45No, right? Because a lot of people did that.

01:48I happened to be an artist, I got a picture, I got a video.

01:51So, but that also inspired so many other people, right?

01:55That's how I look at my influence.

01:59Do you consider yourself a hero?

02:01Of course not.

02:02There are more real heroes out there.

02:05And through this show, I will tell their story.

02:09I will tell their situation in life.

02:11We will tell the situation of their family when the real heroes are in the dark.
