00:07This was after asking for permission to let Aspin enter a restaurant in Tagaytay.

00:13They used to eat in a restaurant and they brought Yoda here.

00:19But this week...

00:21The first thing I saw was that dogs must have a diaper at all times.

00:24At that point, we did not bring a diaper.

00:27That's why Lara's partner entered the restaurant to buy a diaper.

00:32But again, they were talked to by the staff.

00:35She told me, Mom, I'm only up to medium-sized.

00:39From my knowledge, Aspins are medium-sized dogs.

01:15First, they said that they will talk to us first.

01:18But they did not answer our calls again.

01:22In their post yesterday,

01:24they asked for clarification on the incident related to their pet policy.

01:28Lara thanked the support of netizens.

01:32Even on Panda Escudero's Instagram,

01:35the Aspin dog of Hartevang Lista,

01:37Yoda invited her for a high tea.

01:40Hi, Panda. We're ready for high tea.

01:44Animal welfare groups said,

01:46the rules of the establishments should be clear.

01:50If they say it's pet-friendly,

01:52any breed of dog or cat is allowed.

01:55It's sad that even though we're trying to educate people,

02:02our own, our native dogs and native cats,

02:06are the ones who are experiencing these biased decisions.

02:12If we're going to accept a dog,

02:17maybe the qualifications are enough.
