The World Congress Against Fascism begins today in Venezuela with the presence of representatives from 95 countries, who will discuss in Caracas various ideas to confront the attacks suffered by popular political projects. teleSUR

00:00In Venezuela, the World Congress Against Fascism is being held from September 10th to the 11th,
00:05a conference that gathers more than 200 delegates from 95 countries around the world
00:09in support of the fight against imperialism, colonialism and fascism.
00:15Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced the event by expressing his firm commitment
00:19to combat fascism and highlighting the importance of implementing laws that protect
00:24the population from this type of dangerous ideologies. Precisely in this regard,
00:28the President applauded the initiative of the National Assembly to debate an anti-fascist law.
00:32The Congress is an important space for debate and reflection to continue strengthening the fight
00:37against the extremist ideology and provides a chance to join efforts at the international
00:42level in the defense of democratic and humanitarian values.
