00:06teams a lot of people are high on, and rightfully so.
00:09You love the way the Green Bay Packers played the second half of the season last year.

00:13Because Jordan Love certainly looks like he is going to be your franchise guy for the
00:17next 10 to 15 years.
00:18He was paid accordingly, and a lot of high hopes.
00:21The Philadelphia Eagles took on the Green Bay Packers in Brazil in a hard-fought loss
00:26But the biggest loss was the second-to-last play of the game, where you saw Jordan Love
00:30in the pocket, get twisted around, bang up his knee, he'll be out for multiple weeks
00:35at the least here.
00:36Now that, you say, could be devastating to the Green Bay Packers, and who will be their
00:40backup quarterback who's going to step into the fold?
00:43And I don't have a lot of excitement here from either Green Bay Packers or people looking
00:47to back Green Bay right now, because that is Malik Willis.
00:50And you take a look at Malik Willis on his seasons that he's played in the NFL, a lot
00:54of hype.
00:55It was almost thought at one time, Dubsy, he was going to be a top-five draft pick in
00:58the NFL, slips to the third round.
01:00He's had three starts, 350 total yards passing, 144 rush yards, one total touchdown, and three
01:07interceptions.
01:09Let's just start here first.
01:11Devastating injury to Jordan Love, but how do we feel about Malik Willis coming in to
01:14fill in, and can he sort of tread water until we get their starting quarterback Jordan Love
01:20back?
01:21Yeah, look, not great news, but not as bad as it potentially could have been there for
01:26the Green Bay Packers.
01:27The youngest team in the NFL, Jordan Love, he's going to get things together.
01:31If it's three to six weeks, well, the season's not out the window.
01:34I think the Green Bay Packers, alongside the Ravens, probably the best losers from week
01:39one.
01:40So I'm not losing a lot of stock here.
01:41Now for me, Malik Willis, we know the style of play.
01:44He's a dual-threat quarterback.
01:46How high is the ceiling?
01:47It's not high, Donnie.
01:48The expectation is not great for Malik Willis coming in here, but some of the other weapons
01:53that really shine there, I mean, Reid was fantastic for the Packers.
01:56Josh Jacobs, maybe they can lean on him to set the table.
01:59And you look at the schedule, they're going to be at home for this weekend taking on the
02:03Indianapolis Colts.
02:04I'm really not massive for what we did see there in week one.
02:07So maybe with a couple of these other complementary offensive weapons, Malik Willis can just funnel
02:13this offense and maybe try and grind out a couple of wins.
02:16But I'll tell you what, he's only been in the building for, I believe, the last two
02:19to three weeks.
02:20So really doesn't have a great grasp on this offense there either, Donnie.
02:24So a little concerning for you Packer fans, especially on that betting side of things.
02:28They're now grabbing three at home with a line open at three at home there.
02:32But yeah, not good signs in Green Bay, but it could have been a lot worse.
02:36Jordan Love, if he can get back within three, four weeks, still absolutely love what I'm
02:40seeing from Green Bay.
