00:36Was it fun to sort of poke the bear and torture each other a little bit on set?
00:40Or was there a scene that was particularly fun to play off that dynamic?
00:45It was so fun. I mean, the first scene we shot of this season together was when we first see
00:51each other for the first time at the party. And that was so fun because it was so loaded
00:57and neither of us were saying the things we wanted to say. And we were kind of just like
01:02masking it all with these pleasantries.
01:04The tension of being deprived of each other was really fun to play.
01:09And when we would be in the same room, it would just be so loaded.
01:13Season one of the series, adapted by showrunner and EP Megan Oppenheimer,
01:17produced by Emma Roberts and based on the novel by Carola Lovering,
01:20was widely praised by audiences for the chemistry between its stars
01:24and the jaw-dropping twists and turns in every episode.
01:27Fans can expect the same in the upcoming season.
01:30When you're reading the script, are you ever like, oh, I didn't see that coming?
01:33Usually not until I say it out loud and then it's like, whoa, that's mean.
01:41Do you ever feel frustrated with Lucy's actions? Because she does a lot of crazy stuff this season.
01:46It's heartbreaking. It's more like, come on. She's very unlike Steven,
01:52where he has a plan for everything. And Lucy is, I think, very impulsive
01:57and is not thinking about consequences, is not thinking about
02:01how things can add up and affect her and everyone around her.
02:05So it's very like spur of the moment, led by anger or hurt or embarrassment or shame.
02:12And she kind of just acts on that.
02:14The two also shared if they think Lucy and Steven will ultimately be endgame.
02:19I mean, I don't think they should be, but I can see with just historically
02:24that they could not get out of the cycle. You're down for them to be endgame?
02:28Yeah, it'd be awesome because then it's like a supervillain couple.
02:32That's true. They could like not be bad to each other,
02:34but start channeling it out and just take over the world.
02:38Yeah, that's super punk. That's like, that's sick.
