00:00Cracks in the facade or genuine worry about the future?
00:04The Prince and Princess of Wales have given the public a new video, and one body language
00:08expert thinks there are some serious red flags.
00:11Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Prince William treated fans to an intimate glimpse into their
00:15family dynamic on September 9th, along with a long-awaited update on the princess' health.
00:20The announcement reveals that Kate has finally completed her chemotherapy and shows the royals
00:24posing out in nature with their three children.
00:27Is this filming?
00:28Hello?
00:29Hello!
00:30The video shows a stark contrast to all the recent rumors hovering around their bond and
00:35features rare glimpses of William and Kate outwardly flaunting their affection for each
00:38other.
00:39They hold hands, share a meal, and even lay together on a blanket.
00:43The video also includes several embraces in different natural settings.
00:47By all appearances, it's a picture-perfect snapshot of a loving family.
00:51Unfortunately, their attempt at projecting a happy, united front was riddled with a few
00:55unseemly cracks, including discomfort from Prince William.
00:59To better understand the couple's nonverbal undertones, Nicki Swift reached out to Nicole
01:03Moore, celebrity love coach and body language expert, who analyzed William and Kate's interactions
01:08and highlighted a few troubling moments.
01:11Moore told Nicki Swift exclusively that Kate was looking for reassurance from William,
01:15saying,
01:16"[During several parts of the video, when Kate was sitting next to William or walking
01:19next to him, she looked over at him, seeking his eyes, almost as if looking for reassurance
01:23or connection."
01:24Moore calls that a key indicator that Kate views William as a source of comfort.
01:29However, William doesn't seem to be as connected to those moments of intimacy as his wife.
01:34In one clip, where William and Kate are seated together, Kate lovingly lays her head on William's
01:38shoulder.
01:39Prince William displayed true affection for Middleton by lovingly patting her hands, according
01:44to Moore.
01:45However, Moore said,
01:46"[His eyes appear to give away some underlying discomfort."
01:49She explained,
01:50While Kate has eyes closed, fully leaning into the closeness of the moment, William's
01:54eyes dart upward and outward several times as if he's somewhat uncomfortable underneath
01:58it all and perhaps looking for escape.
02:00The body language expert also says that William's body language proves he's committed to being
02:05physically present, but perhaps there's a part of him that feels overwhelmed by it all
02:09or desires to escape somehow.
02:11But it wasn't all bad.
02:12For example, Nicole Moore cited several markers proving that Prince William has been a steady
02:17source of comfort to Kate amid her serious health journey.
02:20Moore explained,
02:21"[William and Kate have definitely grown closer as a result of this, and they share a deep
02:25and connected bond."
02:26Out of darkness can come light.
02:29The body language expert also believes that they have sustained a romantic connection
02:33through the years.
02:34Moore notes that their body language remains close even while with their kids, highlighting
02:38another moment and explaining,
02:40"[Kate keeps her hand planted firmly on William's leg and she squeezes it tightly, even as her
02:45daughter is pulling her close in the other direction."
02:47Moore further points to William and Kate holding hands throughout the video as they walk with
02:51their kids, saying,
02:52"[This body language demonstrates that Kate and William keep a sense of romantic connection
02:56underneath it all, even when the children are present and they aren't just staying together
03:00for the children."
03:01Moore also believes that when William kisses Kate on the cheek, the affection is genuine.
03:06With that said, Moore also circles back around to her original point of William's possible
03:10discomfort.
03:11She reiterated,
03:12"[The only potential red flag is that Kate did look over at William many more times than
03:17he did over to her, and his eyes appeared to dart around in discomfort."
03:21However, Moore doesn't think that behavior in and of itself means this is an open-and-shut
03:25case.
03:26After all, they've likely been going through some rough times with Kate's cancer treatments.
03:30Moore said,
03:31"[It's possible that he's still grappling with some feelings or fears of uncertainty
03:35because of Kate's cancer journey, but he's keeping calm composure to be there for Kate."
