00:00Just as Grandma Jones finished speaking, Kevin stepped forward and declared loudly,

00:07Everyone in the room burst into laughter.

00:10Did I hear that right? He actually disagreed?

00:13They were asking each other.

00:15One of the older members of the Jones family said,

00:18Just because you know the owner of the Whistler Hotel and the president of West Chicago International,

00:24don't let it go to your head.

00:26One of Lily's aunts agreed.

00:28That's right. Since when do you have a voice in our private business?

00:33They all looked at Kevin like he was a bonehead.

00:36What did you just say? Grandma Jones asked sternly.

00:40I said I object. Kevin sneered and added,

00:44As for the problems with Britney's show,

00:47you should investigate what really happened before listening to Jason's nonsense

00:52and putting all of the blame on my wife.

00:55So do you believe we're being unfair to Lily?

00:58Grandma Jones asked.

01:05Kevin replied calmly.

01:07Just as Grandma Jones was about to say something, Jason interrupted.

01:11Kevin, you really have some nerve. Take a look around.

01:15None of us want to hear what you have to say.

01:18Jason said disdainfully.

01:20I just want Grandma to investigate this matter further.

01:24Why would that bother you?

01:26Kevin looked Jason in the eyes and asked him,

01:32A strange look flashed across Jason's eyes and he sneered.

01:39Then how can you be so sure that this must be my wife's responsibility?

01:45Kevin noticed something in Jason's reaction and he asked him seriously.

01:53Jason looked at Kevin awkwardly.

01:55Just as he was about to attack Kevin physically,

01:58he remembered what had happened at Grandma Jones's birthday party and he lost his nerve.

02:04Kevin took advantage of Jason's hesitation and said,

02:07I don't care who caused all the trouble behind the scenes at Brittany's show.

02:12All I know is my wife is innocent.

02:16Kevin's intent was obvious and they all knew what he meant.

02:20However, nobody was willing to agree without some solid evidence.

02:24I think you're deliberately looking to start trouble.

02:27Don't talk nonsense.

02:29Jason shot back as he clenched his fists.

02:32Remember, you're not a true member of the Jones family and you have no say here.

02:37I didn't say you did it, Jason.

02:39Why are you getting so worked up?

02:42Kevin replied as he looked deep into his eyes.

02:45Suddenly, Grandma Jones slapped the table hard.

02:48She had been very unhappy to see Kevin show up for the meeting,

02:51but because of his close ties to Cook and President Wright, she didn't say anything.

02:56But he was causing a lot of trouble for her favorite grandson in front of the entire family.

03:38First, Kevin looked at Dorothy, who was obviously irate.

03:42Then he looked at the rest of the Jones family surrounding him.

03:45Finally, his gaze stopped on Lily.

03:48Taking a deep breath, Kevin patted Lily's shoulder and calmly stepped aside.

03:54Okay, everyone, get back to work, Grandma Jones ordered.

03:59Then she said,

04:00Jason, go and discuss this with Williams Media.

04:04Try to minimize the impact on our company.

04:07Okay, Grandma, Jason replied as he gave Lily a scornful look.

04:12Just as the Joneses were about to leave,

04:15they heard a charming voice from the mansion's foyer.

04:18May I ask if Grandma Jones is here?

04:21Everyone looked over and saw a beautiful woman slowly walking into the room.

04:26Grandma Jones recognized Brittany at a glance and her face fell.

06:33They all saw the four Williams Media sound engineers walk in slowly,

06:38looking incredibly guilty.

06:40Jason was frantic, but he forced himself to look calm.

06:44Why haven't you told Grandma Jones about any of this?

06:47Brittany snapped.

06:49One of the Williams employees pointed right at Jason and shouted,

06:52It's him. It was Jason Jones who ordered us to do it.

06:56The second one added,

06:59He gave us $75,000 each to sabotage Brittany's microphone.

07:04The third employee finally spoke up and said,

07:07Mr. Jones also said that he would give us each another 75,000 after it was done.

07:13The last one was too afraid to speak,

07:15but instead just stared at Jason and nodded in agreement.

07:19The entire Jones family was now glaring at Jason.

07:23Because Brittany was there, he tried not to curse.

07:31Jason screamed hysterically.

08:09As he spoke, one of his partners took out his phone and shouted,

08:29He stared at them as they stood there holding out their phones.

08:37Grandma Jones looked very upset.

08:39Jason didn't know what to say to her.

08:41Suddenly, Kevin nudged Lily's shoulder and asked her mischievously,

08:45How are you doing? You feel any better now?

08:48Shut up, Lily scowled, but she was definitely relieved.

08:53After a while, Grandma Jones took a deep breath and looked at Brittany awkwardly.

08:58You'll have to forgive Jason. He's young and foolish.

09:07Even though the evidence was right in front of her eyes,

09:39As of right now, I forbid you to be involved in our family business.

09:44I also forbid you to leave the property for one year.

09:47If you do, there will be serious consequences.

09:51On the outside, Jason was incredibly arrogant, but he could never argue with Grandma.

09:57He bit his tongue and answered,

10:01Grandma Jones turned to look at Brittany again.

10:04Are you satisfied now?

10:07Brittany took a moment to answer.

10:09After she saw Kevin lightly nod his head, she said,

10:12It looks like you have the situation under control.

10:15But then she got a serious look on her face and added,

10:18That's all in the past now, but I do have a request.

10:22Please tell me what you have on your mind, Grandma Jones said without thinking.

10:27As far as Grandma was concerned, as long as Brittany didn't pursue this matter any further,

10:32the family wouldn't suffer, and neither would Jason.

10:35Brittany's eyes swept across the room and she looked at them one by one before she slowly said,

10:41In order to prevent this kind of thing from happening again,

10:45Lily will be my contact for any further projects.

10:48I don't want to work with anyone else.

10:52What do you mean by this? Grandma Jones asked in confusion.

10:56Because Lily is the only one that I trust.

10:59Brittany didn't even look at Grandma Jones.

11:02Do you agree?

11:03You have my word, Grandma replied.

11:07Even if she didn't like the idea, all she could do at this point was smile and agree.

11:12Everybody in the room was jealous of Lily.

11:15And even though Brittany's image had taken a hit,

11:17she still had the full support of Williams Media and was sure to make a comeback.

11:22As long as they were behind her, they would definitely make Brittany famous again.

11:26And Lily would have lots of opportunities to earn money on future projects.

11:31Just when everyone thought that Brittany had finished,

11:34She walked up to Kevin and asked him,

11:36Mr. Williams, what do you think of my solution?

11:40Very good, Kevin said awkwardly.

11:42He didn't expect Brittany to do this.

11:44His response made Brittany smile.

11:47Then she announced to everyone,

11:49As long as Mr. Williams is satisfied, I guess I can head home.

11:53She turned around and slowly walked out of the Jones mansion to her car.

11:58Everybody started to whisper to each other.

12:00What did I just see?

12:02Did Brittany actually ask Kevin for his approval?

12:05Grandma Jones almost fell off of her chair.

12:08She looked at Kevin in disbelief.

12:11That's funny.

12:12Maybe you should get someone to look into this further.

12:15Kevin said mockingly.

12:17Lily pulled on Kevin's arms and pleaded with him.

12:20Please stop.

12:22She didn't want to risk upsetting her family further, especially Grandma Jones.

12:27But Kevin had other things on his mind.
