Kamala Harris might just have had the last laugh all the way to the White House -- especially if she keeps using that softer laugh she debuted during Tuesday night’s debate ... according to a body language expert.

00:00After watching last night's performance, I think that she is much more likable to the
00:07everyday person. I think she can relate better to them, or at least they feel they can relate
00:14better to her, especially men. Because if a man looks at a woman and thinks of a cackle,
00:21he just thinks of a typical woman. Whereas if he looks at her and hears this kind of
00:28mild laughter, it's more acceptable. And that's not a conscious decision, by the way.
00:35That's just something that happens to us on an unconscious level where we have this feeling
00:40about someone. We don't understand why we have that feeling, but we have this feeling.
00:45And I think that what she did last night, whoever coached her did a very good job in
00:50teaching her how to rein in that sound. So a lot of times when you see Kamala laugh,
00:56you'll hear like a cackle. And unfortunately, once again, as women, this is something that
01:04we see is given as an insult, right? We laugh and it's insulting. And she does have a cackle.
01:12But Hillary Clinton also had a cackle if you were to look at debates. So her laugh is no
01:17different than anybody else's. However, I would say she needs to rein it in. And instead
01:23of doing the loud cackle, do what she did last night, which was pretty much just smile.
01:28And even if it's a big smile, make sure it's a genuine smile. And that's something else
01:34that she has to learn because there are certain times that I watched her last night that she
01:39smiled and the smile was in her lips, but it didn't reach her eyes. And that tells you
01:44it's not a genuine smile. She's just being coached to smile. She needs to learn a genuine
01:49smile that reaches her eyes so that she comes across as somebody who's more credible and
01:54somebody who's more believable. So the laugh in the past when she was doing it, I kind of think
02:00that was performance based. And now hopefully we'll see just more of a smile. And if she's
02:07gonna laugh a typical normal laugh, not that high pitched vocal that I think she used before not
02:14recognizing that it was going to be a negative laugh.
