00:00Q. Since this is the first-ever face-off with the Philippines under ALD, do you feel any pressure to be the first-ever representative of the Philippines under ALD?
00:27Of course there's a certain level of pressure to anybody who gets to be the first, right?
00:32But at the same time, I treat that pressure as kind of a push to do better because I would be the one to set the standards.
00:40And that means I have to put a standard that's high enough to get the crown, the first crown.
00:47And it's very important to me. And I like a little bit of pressure.
00:50I think that's something that motivates me continuously to work and improve.
00:56So, of course, there's a little bit, but then that's enough for me to keep me going.
01:02So that's very important to me.
01:05Q. Hello, Belle. Is there any online voting for the Face of Beauty in 2020? And if yes, how can we help you for the voting?
01:27I'm not very sure yet if there's any category or the votes actually matter.
01:33But I think on a personal level, it's important that we come together.
01:38And it matters to me when I see people on the Internet support and vote for me.
01:43I think that's very important as well.
01:45And for it being a bonding pageant, a new pageant, I think the exposure you can give to the pageant could help me boost my chances
01:53because it means I'm able to bring a market to the pageant.
01:57And that's very important as well to what we're doing here.
02:02Okay, follow-up question.
02:04Q. So during your first national pageant, we saw the craftsmanship of your designer for the national costume competition.
02:15So this time around, is it still the same designer for your costume?
02:22And then, can you share us a little bit, a hint of your manacles?
02:27Okay, so thank you.
02:29I'm very happy to be able to have the time to talk about the people behind my campaign.
02:36And I'm still going to be working with the local designers.
02:40The artistry was the one who made my national costume during Binibini.
02:43And I'm keeping them until Taiwan.
02:46So we're going to have that.
02:48And when we were brainstorming about what I want to showcase in Taiwan,
02:53we talked about how important it is to stay true to the Filipino beauty.
02:58So that's one clue, the classic Filipino beauty.
03:02At the same time, we also incorporated some elements that are very picolano.
03:08So we're going to use certain materials.
03:10And it represents a flower.
03:13It represents a flower that locally found in my province.
03:19At the same time, it's a rare flower in facilities.
03:24So that's something very, a big clue on it.
03:29And I think you can expect a certain level of craftsmanship.
03:35How meticulous it was done, how intricate the designs and the details are.
03:41So hopefully, everybody gets to appreciate my national costume for Taiwan.
03:46And last question.
03:48Favorite of all.
03:50Why should you be our next face-off?
03:56Winner.
04:06Favorite of all.
04:08Why should you be our next face-off?
04:21Okay.
04:22Belle, why should you be our next face-off?
04:28I think in this era, we should establish a different standard of beauty.
04:34It no longer should be what is seen on the outside.
04:38Because for me, real beauty is what's inside.
04:42And I believe I have that.
04:44Because when you have a beautiful soul,
04:46you're able to have beautiful impacts for your beautiful communities.
