A search for a 35-year-old man has been mounted after he was feared to be attacked by a crocodile at a river in Kota Marudu, Sabah on Wednesday (Sept 11).

00:00A search has been launched for a 35-year-old man feared to have been attacked by a crocodile

00:10The incident was reported at 6.07 pm when Razis Amat was swimming in the Kampung Marudu
00:16Darat River with his 17-year-old nephew.
00:19It is believed Razis was attacked by the crocodile while the teenager managed to escape unharmed.
00:26According to a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman, a team of nine from the Kota Marudu
00:31fire station was dispatched to the scene that evening.
00:35The search and rescue operation resumed on Thursday, with rescuers combing the water
00:41surface using a boat.
00:43Local villagers also joined the efforts with their boats.
