00:17If you are doing Ganesh Chaturthi for the first time, then I would like to tell you a few more things.

00:23First of all, what kind of a statue should you bring of Lord Ganesha?

00:29A sitting statue with gold on the left side is a symbol of happiness and prosperity.

00:36One more thing, make sure that one hand is in the ashram and the other hand is holding the modak.

00:44In which direction should you place it?

00:47Place it in the north-east corner of your house.

00:51If you can't find it, place it in the east.

00:54If you can't find it, place it in the north.

00:57But it should be the same.

01:03The chowki should be very clean.

02:04On this day, don't consume alcohol, meat liquor or tobacco.
