00:00G'day, I'm Nick McCulloch, the Exec Chef from Leeds Marriott.
00:05Today we're making scones using my grandmother's recipe from Australia.
00:10It's going with a zero-waste pineapple iced tea.
00:14We use this for our conference afternoon breaks,
00:19like a Yorkshire afternoon tea with a zero-waste iced tea.
00:26So the recipe is my grandmother's recipe.
00:30Four ingredients, self-raising flour, icing sugar, cream and baking powder.
00:56So a really, really quick recipe. Four ingredients.
01:05You don't want to overwork the dough.
01:26I put them, or what I do anyway, I put them close together,
01:39and when they rise they all come up nice and even.
01:45G'day, these are the finished scones, my grandmother's recipe,
01:49with the cream before the jam.
