00:00Howdy. I'd like you to take a look at some of the brand new 1964 Chevrolet trucks. Of
00:09course, Chev has made so many truck improvements over the last five years, it'd take an ad
00:14machine to count them all up. But I'd like to show you just a few. Now, you take this
00:20Chevrolet Fleetside. Chevrolet has sloped that windshield pillar forward. That makes
00:25it easier to get in and out of, and it's true on all of the 64 Chevrolet trucks. And
00:32for easier riding, they put one of these big coil springs at all four wheels. Makes it
00:39ride more like a passenger car than a truck. This big old V8 with a high torque 409 was
00:46developed by Chevrolet so that a lot of truckers could do the work of a big rig with a low
00:53cost heavy duty Chevrolet truck. Chevrolet developed big saving diesels with Chevy GM
00:58diesel power. Chevrolet built these tilt-calf models for special kinds of jobs. And there's
01:08a whole pack of technical improvements too, like this Delcatron that keeps right on charging
01:13the battery when the engine's idle. Take a look at these Corvair 95s, their air-cooled
01:18rear engine, and their Scotch operating habits. They were big news too in the last five years,
01:25but for 64, they're just about the best in my book for dependable, light-duty hauling.
01:29All these new Chevrolet trucks for 64 are raring to go to work for you. And with five
01:39years of improvement built right in. Yes, sir. Five years and then some. They're built to run
01:46longer, save more, and work harder. You might say working power keeps Chevy out front. So what
01:53do you say? See the new 1964 Chevy trucks at your Chevrolet dealers.
