00:30My name is Marsiri Bin Mansur. I'm 53 years old.
00:33I'm originally from Alostat, Kedah.
00:35Now, I'm serving as a prisoner of the Senekedah tree in Darul Aman.
00:40As a prison inspector, I've been serving in this prison for 30 years.
00:46So, with the support of my family and friends,
00:53and especially the head of the prison department, Mr. Nur Haizan,
01:00he has given me the courage and support to continue my career as a singer and musician.
01:10And, Alhamdulillah, I'm part of the Prisoner of the Senekedah band, the Lapwing Band.
01:18As a singer and musician, I'm also involved in many events.
01:40This is our quarters in the Prisoner of the Senekedah tree.
01:45Next to our quarters, there is a field.
01:50So, we can do activities in the evening.
01:54One of our activities in the field is planting.

02:12Actually, my dream is to become a singer.

03:26I found out about Kilawamal's competition.

03:30I heard it from my friends.
03:33They said Kilawamal was a joke.
03:35On Facebook,
03:37there was an audition at Alostak.
03:39So I went to see if there was an Estro band.
03:42I'm an Estro fan,
03:44so I knew that there was an audition for Kilawamal.
03:47I came to Sialam because there was an audition in Sialam for three and four months.

03:52Oh, I said, I have to go again.
03:54It's okay, I said.
03:55I tried to encourage myself to enter Kilawamal,

04:02Then I took a bus.
04:04I got off at KL.
04:06I took my son from KL and went straight to Sialam.
04:09So there was an audition for three months that day.
04:17It's gonna be the same again.
04:21It's the final countdown.
04:25I tried, then I was shortlisted.
04:28I got top 20.
04:30I didn't expect it either, because the contestants were really great.
04:41I tried my best.
