01:51Steinmeier said he wanted to see for himself how ordinary Egyptians are coping with soaring inflation and a struggling economy.

02:08Everyone is worried about putting food on the table.
02:11So it's important that wealthy countries support poor countries.
02:18For Steinmeier, trade, diplomacy and friendship are part of how Germany can give that support.
