00:00I'm here with veteran Hungarian pilot Sába Bibity. Thank you, köszönöm, thank you for
00:13taking us up here. Wonderful views. Tell me, what do you like so much about hot air ballooning?
00:2124 years ago I became a pilot, inspired by my father's love for hot air balloons.
00:27He introduced me to this sport and his passion became mine. So Sába has been flying since he
00:34was 19 years old, that is 24 years ago. He has taken us up over Szeged, Hungary right now,
00:42as the FIA International World Hot Air Balloon Championship is underway.
00:48Tell me a little bit about what this competition is all about.
00:53The competition is all about precision and perfection. It depends on the pilot's target
01:00choices, flying skills and team performance. Perfect. Now tell me a little bit about the
01:06components. What does this hot air balloon consist of? The balloons in the competition
01:12are tear-shaped, not round, and about half the size of this one. They have two key components,
01:18the burners and the basket. These parts make a significant difference,
01:23along with other equipment that aids in navigation.
01:28So these burners, this is like the engine of the hot air balloon. This is what makes it go
01:34and really, really take off. Thank you so much, köszönöm. It's really great to fly it with you
01:41and to everyone that's watching us on our social media, keep following us and thanks so much for
01:48your support.
