00:00So, what you can also do is you can enable multi-factor authentication inside of ChatGPT
00:12if you want to stay more secure with your data.
00:14So in that case, you can go around onto your profile button right here and then go around
00:19onto settings.
00:21Then over here in settings, you can go around onto security and you can see that multi-factor
00:26authentication is an option.
00:28So let me just go ahead and click on enable right here just like this and then what happens
00:33is that you get to the page where you can go around and enable out the multi-factor
00:37authentication right here.
00:39So you need to go around and scan this code with your mobile right here with our preferred
00:45authenticator app.
00:48After scanning it with your mobile, you will get a code that you need to type in.
00:53So let's just go ahead and type in the code that I have right here.
00:56So it's 582043 and I'm going to go ahead and click on continue right here.
01:03So now it's just copied the recovery code right here.
01:06So let's just go around and then I'm going to keep it somewhere safe right here and I
01:11am going to say I have safely recorded this code right here and then I'm going to click
01:15on continue.
01:16So once I do that, then the multi-factor authentication is enabled as you can see right here.
01:21Let me just go ahead and close it right here.
01:24So now if I were to go ahead and log out right here just like this and then if I were
01:29to log back in again.
01:31So I'm just going to go around and click on log in right here just like this and then
01:36I'm going to go around log in with Google as you can see right here.
01:41It says verify your identity and enter your one time code right here.
01:46So I need to go around and open up my authenticator app again right here and then I need to type
01:52in my code.
01:53So let's say for example now I got 775406 right here just like this and I'm going to
01:59go around and click on continue and then this is what you have as you can see.
02:04So if you want to go ahead and disable the multi-factor authentication again, then you
02:08can go around onto settings right here and then you need to go around onto security and
02:14disable multi-factor authentication.
02:16So once you go ahead onto the disable option right here, it takes you to another page again
02:23and you need to enter the code again to disable this app.
02:27So the code this time is 888090 for me.
02:32So I'm just going to go around and continue and once you do that, you can see that this
02:37is what you have as you can see right here.
02:39So if I were to go around onto settings right here just like this, so let's just go around
02:44onto settings, let's just go around and refresh this out once just like this because it's
02:49not properly rolled yet.
02:51So now if I were to go around onto security, you can see that this is what you have.
02:54So let's just go ahead and disable this out again right here just like this.
02:59So now if I were to go around, it says disable, add the code right here.
03:04So let's just go ahead and then add in 400018 right here just like this and I'm going to
03:11go around and click on continue and then what happens is that it says disable right
03:16here just like this.
03:18So now if I were to go around onto settings right here just like this.
03:22So let's just go around onto settings, let's refresh this and then what happens is that
03:27under security, then this is still there right here.
03:31So you'll be able to log in using Google.
03:33So let's just go around over here and log out right here and log in using Google again.
03:38So let's just go around and log in now and then I'm going to go around, log in with Google
03:44right here just like this and then it still shows the authenticated code right here just
03:49like this.
03:50So let's just go around and disable this.
03:52So sometimes this happens and it does not actually get through.
03:56So I'm going to say 864 right here, just like this, 864.
04:03So let's just go around and sign in right here just like this and now I'm going to disable
04:08it with the other method.
04:09So I'm going to go around onto settings, onto security, disable right here just like this
04:14and then you can see that it goes onto the setting page again and I'm going to go around
04:19and try another method right here and utilize the recovery code this time which I actually
04:25copied earlier and I'm going to go around and copy right here just like this and I'm
04:30going to say I have safely recorded this code right here just like this and this is what
04:36you have and you've got the option to disable multi-factor authentication and you can go
04:40ahead and click on it and now you can see that it is disabled completely.
04:45So now if I were to go ahead and then log out right here just like this and then log
04:51back in.
04:52So let's just go around and click on log in and then continue with Google right here just
04:57like this, then what happens is that it doesn't ask me for the security code anymore and the
05:02multi-factor authentication has been disabled.
05:05And that is how you can enable and disable the multi-factor authentication inside of
05:10ChatGPT.
