04:07But now the question is, can I be normal and eat fruit or can I eat fruit and still be normal?

05:55But if you're doing very menial kind of job, let's say you're digging outside every day physically,
06:03not by… with a machine, but you're physically digging and doing very hard work,
06:09then you may find every two hours you get hungry because of the fruit.
06:15Because there is only that much volume you can eat, but it gets digested so rapidly
06:21that you may feel empty stomach.
06:25Till you come to a certain level of awareness where you're able to be empty stomach and still be energetic,
06:33because hunger is about running out of energy.
06:37It's like you're running out of battery, that's why you need to eat.
06:41But today, a lot of people or most people, I would say, when they feel little empty in the stomach,
06:47they feel like eating.
06:49To get out of this, you need a little bit of awareness that you're empty stomach,
06:54but still you're okay because you're energetic.
06:57When energy starts dipping, you eat.
07:02So if you go on a total fruit diet, you may have to either spend little more time on the lunchtime
07:12and eat slowly so that you ingest enough fruit.
07:16Because with little fruit you will feel full because it's generally sweet.
07:21So one has to wait and slowly eat.
07:24There is also a bio-clock within us that, let us say, your normal meal, cooked meal,
07:31you're taking ten, twelve minutes to eat.
07:36Even if you eat fruit, by the time you reach ten, twelve minutes, your body says you've eaten enough.
07:42So you have to consciously eat more because it is timing you.
07:48It is not looking at the fill, it's just timing you.
07:50When those ten, twelve minutes are gone, you feel you're full.
07:54So one has to go beyond that and consume enough.
07:57But if you're only on fruit diet and physically very active,
08:02it is important that maybe you bring three meals into your day and most of you may already be doing it.
08:12So three times a day, if you're sleeping six hours or eight hours or whatever,
08:19for the remaining hours, sixteen to eighteen hours,
08:24three times eating is more than enough if you're eating fruit.
08:28But stomach will feel empty within two hours' time.
08:31So you must get used to hanging on with high energy but empty stomach.
08:37This is the time your brain works best.
08:39This is the time as a human being you function best, it'll be good for you.
08:44So if you want to use your brain power and also physical activity, it'll work perfectly well.
08:52But the fruit that you get in the market today, we don't know what it is filled with.
09:02That is a little bit of a problem because I clearly noticed this,
09:08the kind of country fruits that we used to eat when we were young
09:12and today the farm grown fruits that are coming to us even in India,
09:16I mean here it's another matter altogether, even in India they're not the same.
09:22They're much bigger, rounder, better looking but this is like Botox.
09:33This doesn't work.
09:37I can clearly feel it's not the same level of strength and aliveness in it
09:43simply because this is made for the market, not for the man.
09:48These fruits are essentially made for the market.
09:51This doesn't mean that they're totally a waste but they don't have the same nutrient that it used to have.
09:59So we may have to fortify it with some amount of other food.
10:05We must check and see what kind of fruits you're exposed to and seasonally there are variety of fruits.
10:12It's very incredible that what kind of fruits the land produces at a certain time is most suitable for the system.
10:20There's a lot of study about this, how for those seasons when it's cold, when it's hot,
10:26when it's… the moisture is very high, the right kind of fruit comes out of the earth.
10:31If you're eating from that area but now you're eating fruit that comes from New Zealand, this is another matter.
10:39If you're eating from the land around you, you will see the right kind of fruit is coming to you at the right season.
10:46It's the best thing to eat at that time.
10:51Above all, it's ecologically a very sensible way to eat.
10:56Right now we're launching a campaign that everybody should turn at least thirty percent fruity.
11:03That is, at least thirty percent of your diet should become fruit
11:07because if thirty percent of your food comes from the trees, not from ploughed land and crop,

11:40But right now, what is called life is that we spring out as if we don't belong.
11:47That we fly in such a way that it doesn't look like we're made of earth.
11:53Even the bird that soars is made of earth, but when it's soaring up there, it doesn't look like earth.
11:59So every life, when it springs out, it should not look like earth, but we are of the earth.
12:05But if we want to spring up, the fuel that we consume, the fuel that we put into this system
12:11must be that which burns quick and very easily inflammable.
12:18What is easily flammable is the best food.
12:23In our stomach, without doubt, fruit is that which burns up quickest.
12:30So this means least amount of residue, least amount of tax on the system, least amount of stress in the system.
12:39So definitely it'll make a huge difference.
12:44I knew somebody who went on some 1008 days of only one fruit.
12:54This person went on orange.

13:03She was full of ailments when she started.
13:06She was a diabetic, high blood pressure, and I don't know, they told me a list of problems that she had.
13:14Thyroid issues, serious, very thyroid issues, overweight.
13:19In 1008 days, she came out like she was twenty years younger and full of vitality, all ailments gone totally.
13:28This is one person I'm saying, please don't go on just oranges, we'll run short of oranges.
