00:00Hey guys, it's Johnny Craig here, I'm standing in front of my van, which I tour in.

00:14We are on tour right now with Call Me Charisma, beginning of the tour pretty much, only like

00:19six or seven days in, couple difficulties, but we're working through it, it's getting

00:23smooth, it's starting to sound real nice.

00:25This tour is pretty much just promoting a lot of the new music that I'm dropping for

00:30my new band, Bold Flame.

00:32So we've dropped at least three singles before the tour and I think we have one more coming

00:36up.

00:37Alright so, this is obviously the passenger seat, driver's seat.

00:41It's funny because I own this van and the trailer in my name, but they don't want me

00:46to drive, they think that I'm going to kill them, but I think I'm a great driver, but

00:50they think otherwise.

00:51So mainly the people that drive, we have a driving schedule already planned out before

00:56we left, everyone pretty much drives except me.

01:01And then obviously we always have someone sitting here making sure that the person is

01:06awake.

01:07We would normally be playing music and stuff like that, but we can't use the radio, anything

01:13other than our CD player.

01:16So we went and we got some beautiful CDs, Wild Wild West, I know people remember that

01:21beautiful album.

01:22O-Town, come on now, that's one of the greatest albums I'm playing.

01:25And then Rascal Flatts, come on, who doesn't like a little three part, six part, seven

01:29part harmonies, man, we love that shit.

01:32And then we got a bunch of Matchbox cars.

01:37On this tour, I told my son that I would get him one in every state, and so I put it on

01:43the rider and they've been giving them to me every show.

01:47So we have a bunch of these in here right now.

01:49Kid gave me this, he was actually driving the Ford Focus RS, beautiful car, he let me

01:55whip it a little bit, it was nice.

01:57So every band, every band I'm sure that's touring uses these, we have to have power

02:04straight to the back for the person in the back to charge their phone, computer, whatever.

02:08So we have a little 400 watt one, easy, super simple, lots of cables, charge your phone,

02:14all that.

02:15On the dash, we got a poster that I wanted to save from the Iowa show, I just thought

02:21that it was a really nice poster and I'm going to hang it up in my house when we get home

02:26and we open it up for you.

02:28It's just a nice poster, it has Iowa City on it, I think that's really cool.

02:33It's nice, big, and it's the paper that it's on is why I chose it to hang up in my house.

02:38It's like real nice poster quality.

02:43Water, always water, everybody needs water.

02:47That's about it, that's the front seat.

02:49So, door's a little jammed, a little funky, it's alright, when it does that you just gotta

02:55kinda give it a good yank.

02:58So, this is my bunk, doesn't matter what van I'm in, doesn't matter where I'm at, I always

03:04sit in the front because for some reason in my brain it makes me feel like it is going

03:08to be the safest if we crash.

03:10If anyone asks me why I think that, I don't know.

03:16I got this last night for my son, I won it on a claw machine at Denny's at like 2 in

03:21the morning.

03:22Yeah, pretty much I have my gaming system which I keep in here, it's inside, it's a

03:26ROG Ally.

03:28Yeah, the ones that I'm playing, I got an emulator, pretty much what I'm playing is

03:32just a handheld computer, it has better graphics than a Playstation 5, it can play anything,

03:38I've been playing Resident Evil, Call of Duty, but I'm playing right now on an emulator,

03:44a Playstation 2 game called Sukuren, it's just like an RPG game, I'm really into that.

03:49So, I got all 5 of them on there and I've just been burning through them because they're

03:54just so much fun, so much fun.

03:56We stopped off at a store in Iowa, was across the street and I picked up a couple books

04:03that I've been looking for, I read a lot of comic books.

04:06This is actually a real book that I read and I wanted to re-read it, you know, with

04:10some illustrated goodness, so I already burned through this, a lot of people probably know

04:16this one, Last Ronin, it's about the Ninja Turtles and all of them are dead except for

04:21one, it's really good, I smashed through it in like a day, it was amazing.

04:26And then of course, I've been looking to start this for a while, the comic, you know,

04:32The Walking Dead, it's pretty much the complete first one, so that's what I'm reading at the

04:39moment.

04:40And yeah, I'm just going to lay back, I've got my pillow that I stole from the hotel,

04:45everybody knows, we steal hotel pillows, this is just a random hat.

04:50But down here we've got some real goodness, we've got a brand new 2020 MacBook Air, it

04:58was in the box, in the plastic, we bought it because I needed it for the stage and it

05:05has to be plugged in at all times.

05:07But it was brand new and it's just the battery never got charged at the start and so it just

05:12kind of shit out.

05:13I had to go buy a whole other one, but now we just have this beautiful bad boy just sitting

05:18here.

05:19I know everyone loves MacBooks and Johnny Craig and I've got my gaming controller in

05:25case I want to play, you know, Need for Speed or something.

05:28I have the Xbox Pro, super, super, connects real easy.

05:34And then, yeah, just backpack full of things you need, chargers, my medicine, all that

05:39type of stuff.

05:40So yeah, that's my bunk, that's pretty much what it is.

05:43Well, they kind of shipped around a little bit, but we'll just go with where they were

05:47today.

05:48This is Joe, he keeps it pretty clean, he's a pretty clean guy.

05:53Obviously, we've got Red Bulls on here, this is super essential for touring.

05:57He doesn't really keep much in his bunk, he likes to keep everything in his bag, real

06:00neat and tidy guy, which I like that, obviously.

06:06Third one is pretty tidy too, man.

06:08Like I said, it's been cleaned a little bit.

06:10This is a new guy that we are working with, his name is Alec, and he is pretty tidy too,

06:15man.

06:16He keeps his chargers, keeps everything, not much down here.

06:20Another thing is when we go into venues, we bring our stuff inside.

06:24I know that there's a lot of stories, people getting vans broken into, and we just don't

06:28want to take the chance, so we make sure we bring everything that we find valuable, we

06:32just bring it in.

06:33It's not hard to carry it in, it's easy.

06:35Don't be lazy, carry your stuff inside, you'll thank me later.

06:40And the back here is our guitar player Aaron, and he might be the messiest one.

06:49He's having a hard time right now, going through a breakup, so his stuff is a little messy,

06:55his towels, blankets, this.

06:59Like I said, we kind of share these bunks, really not every single person has their own

07:03except for me, because I guess I own the van, so I was like, I need to be in the front at

07:07all times, I want to feel safe.

07:10We just kind of bounce around.

07:11Sound guy comes back here sometimes, that's a lot of his stuff as well.

07:14He's new.

07:16Over here, you know, we got somebody that wanted to keep a poster or something, let's

07:21take a look at what it is.

07:23Yeah, just a show flyer from Madison, Wisconsin.

07:29Same thing, somebody wanted to take it and bring it home.

07:34Yeah, you'll find a lot of those in my van.

07:35We used to have the whole rule of like the, you know, if you're driving you get the back

07:39or whatever, but we have like the perfect amount of people in our van right now, six.

07:45And so, we haven't had any arguments, nothing like that.

07:48The only problem is, I'm starting to see a lot of people don't want to be back here,

07:52because it's hot.

07:54In the summertime, the air is not reaching us, like if you're sitting in these bunks,

07:57you got these bad boys, right?

07:58You got one right over your head in each one.

08:00This one, there's no air, so it does tend to get a little hotter back here, so I have

08:05seen them avoiding it lately.

08:08This is the back here.

08:10Nothing too crazy, nothing too special.

08:13A lot of storage.

08:15Kevin, our TM, likes to wear sick basketball shoes from the 2000s.

08:24You know, when we get stuff from Walmart and stuff, and you don't want to put it in your

08:27bag, you can just toss it back here.

08:30You know, it's out of the way.

08:32Some of the leftover Ryder from the last show.

08:34I like vitamin waters.

08:36Just so anyone knows they want to bring me some, I like vitamin waters.

08:40And just some Ritz crackers in case, you know, someone's feeling a little nauseous or something.
