00:00In the meantime, the authorities seized 10 high-powered firearms and other war materials.

00:13The troops of the 75th Infantry Battalion fought back against the members of the Communist Terrorist Group, or CTG,

00:21in the site of Barangay Bulhoon, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur.

00:26Five M16 rifles, M203 grenade launchers, and a Bosch Master Rifle, three AK-47 rifles,

00:36three unexploded improvised explosive devices with IEDs,

00:4210 bandoliers with magazines and live ammunition,

00:4711 jungle backpacks, personal belongings, cell phones, and electronic gadgets,

00:54and assorted medical supplies and documents were seized.

00:57It is the first time that the military has filed a report on extortion activities in the CTG

01:04in the area targeted by the residents and local traders.

01:08According to this, the military and psychosocial activities of the residents in the area

01:15may have affected the CTG's presence.

01:18The government has called for the force of the CTG members to surrender

01:24in order to participate in the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Programme and Amnesty Programme of the government.

01:33Thanks to the contributions of the pensioners in Davao Region,

01:36as of September 6,

01:39the Social Security System, or SSS, Pensioners' Day was held in Davao del Sur.

01:45More than 1,200 pensioners in Davao Region participated.

01:49They gave the SSS their full contribution to the government service.

01:54As of June 2024,

01:56there are more than 3 million SSS pensioners in Tibuk Nasod.
