00:00Always be aware of your health status, the primary indicator of battlefield survivability.
00:10The following GTI medical guide will bring you up to speed.
00:14Let's start at the basics.
00:16Body parts.
00:17The following may take damage during combat.
00:20The head, chest, stomach, left and right arms, and left and right legs.
00:27That's seven body parts we need to take care of.
00:30When you take light damage, it'll reduce a portion of your health.
00:34You just need to use an injector, med crate, or other medical supplies, or maybe call for
00:39the assistance of a support operator to restore your health back to normal.
00:44However, sustaining stronger damage, such as concentrated enemy fire, explosives, or
00:50falling from a height, may result in a debuff.
00:55For example, multiple untreated wounds will cause the operator to bleed, leading to blurred
01:00vision and further health loss.
01:02To stop things getting worse, quickly use bandages or surgical kits to treat the wounds,
01:09followed by injectors and med crates to heal back up.
01:12It's also possible to suffer an arm or leg fracture.
01:16A fractured arm will leave you less capable of handling weapon recoil.
01:24If your leg is fractured, your movement speed will be greatly impaired.
01:30While these debuffs don't damage your character's health directly, they do impact your combat
01:36effectiveness and should be treated ASAP.
01:39Surgical kits come in several types.
01:41Basic surgical kits can repair one affected limb and can be used up to two times.
01:47Higher quality surgical kits can remove all debuffs on one limb, as well as offering more
01:53uses.
01:54In the absence of surgical kits, using painkillers can temporarily prevent blurred vision from
02:00fractures and avoid the movement speed reduction.
02:03However, these meds cannot heal damage and are only temporary solutions for use in emergencies.
02:10Of course, in extreme cases, Stinger's Hive Tech Pistol can also provide temporary solutions
02:17to debuffs.
02:19Apart from damage and debuff treatments, operators also have various performance-enhancing injectors
02:25to choose from.
02:26If you want to temporarily increase your sprint endurance, why not take a shot of Neoepinephrine?
02:32To retain movement speed when carrying too much loot, simply use a muscle activator.
02:38There are many more injectors to choose from, each designed to enhance combat efficiency.
02:44Feel free to experiment with their effects and benefits.
02:48This concludes our GTI Medical Manual.
02:51Good luck out there, operators!
02:53See you next time!
