00:00Manchester City are accused of 115 alleged breaches of the Premier League's financial fair play rules.
00:06The charges relate to the years between 2009 and 2018.
00:10They include failing to provide accurate financial information,
00:13failing to provide full disclosure about player and management payments,
00:17and failure to comply with the Premier League's investigations.
00:20The club denies all of the charges.
00:22While the hearing, which has been held at an undisclosed location,
00:25is expected to last around 10 weeks,
00:28but there won't be an immediate verdict.
00:30Reports suggest the outcome won't be announced until early 2025,
00:34and then either side could appeal that verdict.
00:36This case is unprecedented, so a range of options are on the table
00:40if City are found guilty of some or all of the charges.
00:44The most severe punishment would be relegation from the Premier League.
00:47Other options include a points deduction, a fine,
00:50a transfer embargo, or even stripping the club of their titles.
