A 5.2 magnitude earthquake in Moldova was caught live on TV as President Maia Sandu was being interviewed.

The tremor struck at 17:40 local time, 62 kilometers northwest of Buzau, Romania. It left Sandu momentarily stunned but calm as the room shook during the live broadcast.

The earthquake was felt in Moldova, Ukraine, and Bulgaria.
