00:00I can't tell you how much of a pleasure it is to be joined by the former
00:04general manager of both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown.
00:09The producer of one of the most memorable phrases in WWE history.
00:13Excuse me.
00:16I was afraid that was gonna happen.
00:18Hello, Vickie.
00:19It's so good to be here.
00:20It's such a good time tonight.
00:22I love it.
00:23So it's been like a decade or so since you've actually been on SmackDown.
00:27Like what was that like for you?
00:28That was a long time ago.
00:30Yeah, I mean, I was back for Royal Rumble and
00:33the first ever women's evolution.
00:35But to come back and be asked to be here tonight was, of course,
00:40how can you say no?
00:41I mean, this is my home.
00:42This is where everything started.
00:44And to see all my old friends and just familiar faces and meet new ones.
00:49It's a blessing tonight.
00:51Does it feel a little surreal after being gone for so long to be walking the halls
00:54again, seeing the locker room, seeing the new crop of superstars?
00:58I'm old, there's a lot of new kids here.
01:00So it's fun to see the new generation come up and
01:03see how they're gonna lead WWE.
01:05But to be able to sit with the girls and talk to them and
01:09to be able to get to know the new roster, this is a great day today.
01:14I mean, I'm just like a little girl in a candy store.
01:17So since we're touching on the new generation,
01:19I would love to pick your brain a little bit and get your expertise.
01:22We have two very exceptional general managers on both Friday Night SmackDown
01:27and Nick Aldis and Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce.
01:30Your face might be telling the story right now, but
01:32I would love to get your opinion on what kind of job they're doing.
01:35You know what?
01:36They're doing a great job.
01:37I mean, everyone has their own talent.
01:39But in reality, I mean, are they managing both shows?
01:43Good point.
01:44But anyway, I mean, I just have to like build my ego up a little bit.
01:49But no, these guys are, these are great gentlemen.
01:52They have a lot of talent.
01:53I watch them, they're doing a great job, and I wish them the best.
01:57Well, Vickie, it was such a pleasure to spend some time with you.
01:59Thank you for coming back.
02:00And obviously, this is your home.
02:01You're welcome back anytime here in WWE.
02:04Thank you, Byron.
02:05Bye, everyone.
02:06Excuse me!
02:07Just one more time.
02:10I am here with none other than RVD, who is here for the season premiere of SmackDown.
02:17So what brings you here, and how did you enjoy the action this evening?
02:21Well, it's been awesome, of course.
02:24And an airplane brought me here, silly.
02:26Yes, yeah.
02:27Yeah, glad to be here.
02:29You know, the crowd seems a little happy to see me, too.
02:33Not surprised.
02:35They love RVD, and I love them, too.
02:38Well, it is so great to be in the presence of a legend again.
02:41Oh, hi!
02:43Did I hear legend?
02:45Well, Robbie Boy, from one legend to another, I actually did a great little bit,
02:51didn't I, Kathy?
02:52It was in Money in the Bank, where I am a legend, because I'm Canadian,
02:55a Canadian legend in Toronto.
02:57It was very funny.
02:58I'm sure you already saw it, though.
03:00What did you think of it?
03:02I might have missed that one.
03:07I am sure you didn't, but that's OK.
03:11I will send it to you.
03:13Good to see you.
03:14Cool, cool, yeah.
03:16Who's that?
03:17It's Chelsea Green.
03:18Oh, cool.
03:19I've seen her.
03:21Thank you so much.
03:22But as she was saying, I'm the original Mr.
03:25Money in the Bank, the whole damn show, Mr.
03:28Pay-Per-View, RVD.
03:33Bam.
03:35Play it, play it, play it, damn!
03:38We got two legends in the house tonight for the season premiere of SmackDown.
03:43So how was it for you two to be back in front of the WWE Universe?
03:47Absolutely.
03:48Every time you come back, it's like coming home.
03:51It doesn't take you long to get back into the same feeling,
03:55that same mode of when you're getting pumpkin ready to go out.
03:58Right, so it's always a thrill.
04:01Yeah, I feel real good.
04:03As being the former general manager of SmackDown,
04:05did that for almost nine years.
04:07And just to be back here tonight and listen to the reaction coming from the
04:10fans as me and Ron walked out, man, what a tremendous feeling.
04:13Holla, holla, players.
04:15How do you think Nick Aldis is doing?
04:17Are you going to fight him for his job?
04:18No, I don't want Nick Aldis' job.
04:19I think Nick Aldis is doing a hell of a job, okay?
04:22And I just, all Nick Aldis needs to do if he's having problems,
04:25then he just need to contact me and I'll help him straighten things out.
04:28Well, see how you saw how he slipped that in?
04:30So what that means, saw how he did that?
04:32So that means he's still better at it.
04:35See, that's an old OG.
04:37If you have a problem, call me.
04:39I know what to do.
04:40See, that's still OG tricks, okay?
04:41All you have to do is holla at a player.
04:44Now, you know, I only got one thing to say to that.
04:47Damn.
