00:00We will take you to the Minister of Justice, Aazan Nazir Tariq, to give a speech.
00:049, 10, 11, 12, 13 and then 2.
00:07This has been said repeatedly, especially when 184.3 was filed in two courts.
00:14In 2009, 10, 11, 12, 13 and then in 2017, 18, 19.
00:20This has been said repeatedly that this should happen.
00:24So, what is the Constitutional Court?
00:28The Constitutional Court is that an independent court should be formed
00:35in the Constitution, which exercises the constitutional jurisdiction.
00:42Article 184, according to which we exercise the original jurisdiction,
00:47according to which the Supreme Court has the authority,
00:52and that is the enforcement of fundamental rights,
00:55where the President is also attached to public importance.
00:59In Article 186, when there is a case between two provinces,
01:03or if the President sends a reference to the Supreme Court in an advisory jurisdiction,
01:09along with that, he was told that his idea,
01:12I was listening to this idea on TV that the late Asma Jahangir had floated,
01:19when these negotiations were taking place before the Nisak-e-Jumuriyat in 2005-06.
01:27So, the original orders of Article 199,
01:31the tribunals and other matters,
01:34the original jurisdiction that is exercised in the High Courts,
01:37the appeals should also go there.
01:39That court, Mr. President, one Chief Justice,
01:42and what we had in mind was that
01:46seven or eight judges,
01:49eight because that number will go to nine again.
01:53And also because there is a theme in it that
01:56at least one judge from each province,
01:58at least one judge from each jurisdiction should be there.
02:01Then we also have the Islamabad High Court,
02:04that should also be included in it,
02:07there should also be representation here,
02:09so that a glimpse of loyalty can be seen in it.
02:12And then three seats were kept because when the affluent work will increase,
02:16then all of you are lawyers.
02:19I think Mr. President, you have done a great favor.
02:21Today, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is in the presence of the High Court Bars,
02:24and the head and deputy head of the Bar Council is present.
02:27From Punjab, I am seeing,
02:30the President Secretary of Muntan High Court Bar,
02:32the President Secretary of Bahawalpur High Court Bar,
02:35the President Secretary of Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association is sitting in front of me,
02:39the representative of Islamabad High Court Bar,
02:42the head and deputy of the Punjab Bar Council are both present,
02:46the President of Karachi Bar from Sindh,
02:49the President Secretary of Sindh High Court Bar,
02:51our President from Gulochistan, Mr. Kari, has just met me,
02:54from Quetta Bar Association,
02:57Mr. Zahid Khan has come with him from the Bar Council,
03:00and all of you friends,
03:02especially when the Supreme Court is outside, and Pakistan is sitting outside,
03:06then I would like to put this in front of all of you,
03:11that the Constitutional Court,
03:14does it have a place in our Constitutional Framework or not?
03:20And does the Parliament, Mr. Amjad Shah, have the power,
03:25that according to the procedure given in the Constitution,
03:30if it has the required number,
03:33then can this amendment be brought or not?
03:37You understand the legal matters more than I do.
03:41Now if it is said that the age limit should be 65 years,
03:46or the age limit should be 68 years,
03:49I am open to this issue today,
03:54you should also guide us on this,
03:56and I would like to request you,
03:59the Bar Council, the Supreme Court, the Bar Association,
04:02and the Subahi High Courts and the Bar Council,
04:05you should also make a small committee of your legal experts,
04:10and guide me, I am a part of you,
04:14that in your opinion,
04:16if you want to establish a proper court,
04:20which is a part of our Chequered History,
04:24of the Court of Justice,
04:26in which there has been a lot of criticism of the Court of Justice,
04:29and sometimes the Court of Justice has been established for the rights of the people.
04:34So, what kind of model do you think should be set up,
04:39which will be useful?
04:40There are Constitutional Courts in many countries of the world.
04:43I will stop here for now.
04:45Do you have any questions?
04:46I have two questions, Mr. Amjad.
04:48Their answers are very important.
04:50Before that, my elder brother, Mr. Gurdon Manohar,
04:53who is a member of our second bench,
04:58we welcome you, sir,
05:00and because of your presence,
05:02I would like to ask a few questions.
05:05Mr. Gurdon, with all due respect,
05:09what you are saying,
05:11this is the biggest question,
05:15which has been discussed on a lot of bases in the past.
05:20The fact is, sir,
05:22that we have come to know from your speech
05:24that this is a concentrated process,
05:26which has been going on for a long time.
05:28Our only complaint to you is,
05:30that this package,
05:32I wish you would have told this to Mr. Gurdon,
05:34and Mr. Gurdon Manohar,
05:36that you would have told us,
05:38that the order that you are asking for today,
05:41if it had been taken from us before the package was introduced,
05:46then perhaps you would not have been in such a hurry.
05:50Mr. Naik, I would like to say something.
05:52Mr. Naik, I will give you two minutes.
05:54Mr. Hassan is not aware that we are completing.
05:58No, no, Mr. Naik, do it.
06:00I have given an introduction.
06:02Mr. Naik, only this thing,
06:05that the addition of a parliamentarian in the Judicial Commission,
06:11all these Bar Councils,
06:13all these previous people,
06:17you please come.
06:23I will have the box today.
06:25I will have the box.
06:28Mr. Gurdon, I would like to make a request.
06:31Two minutes, not more.
06:34All our representatives,
06:36if there are questions,
06:39Mr. Naik, we have all our representatives.
06:43One minute, two minutes.
06:58Mr. Naik, when Mr. Naik speaks,
07:00the four things that I have brought in front of you,
07:03I will definitely keep them.
07:09Senator Sudhir Kaur Bar Association,
07:11Long Mr. Sahab and Commander-in-Chief.
07:15The thing is,
07:16as far as the matter of the constitution is concerned,
07:19it is a matter of great importance.
07:21And we all know that
07:24the constitution is a living document,
07:27not a dead document.
07:29When it is a living document,
07:31it has got to change
07:33in accordance with the aspirations
07:36and the prejudices of the people of Pakistan.
08:06The additional assistance of the opposition of the time
08:10unanimously passed the law.
08:12Unanimously, it happened that
08:14the opposition was nominated
08:16and the government was nominated as well.
08:19Now the question arises,
08:21the power of the parliament to amend the constitution.
08:24The Supreme Court has discussed this.
08:26They have also said this.
08:28Does the power of the parliament
08:30to amend the constitution
08:33mean that the objective resolution,
08:37which is a part of the constitution,
08:41says that the independence of the judiciary
08:44shall be secured.
08:46These are the words which are used
08:48in the objective resolution.
08:50Now the I.E. package is coming,
08:53the judicial package is coming.
08:55All of us are sitting there.
08:57And no one has the knowledge
09:00to write what is written in it.
09:03All that is being discussed is
09:05the constitutional court.
09:07Mr. Lawrence has just said
09:09that the demand of the party
09:11is that the constitution should be amended.
09:14All the western democracies
09:17which run on the legal system of civil law,
09:21there is a constitutional court in all of them.
09:25And now in Eastern Europe,
09:28their democracies have also adopted
09:31the concept of constitutional court.
09:35There is a constitutional court in Russia.
09:38There is a constitutional court in Thailand.
09:41There is a constitutional court
09:43in the Muslim countries of Indonesia.
09:45The point is that the constitutional court
09:48today is the need of the day.
09:50Because the Supreme Court
09:52is a civil and criminal appellate court also.
09:56They have many cases.
09:59Along with that,
10:01when the need for the interpretation
10:04of the constitution increases,
10:06it takes days and weeks
10:08but all the cases of civil and criminal
10:11which are originally litigated,
10:13are different from that.
10:15If we make a constitutional court,
10:18the question which arises to the mind,
10:21and this is the basic question,
10:23whether it will destroy
10:27the independence of judiciary.
10:30And if it is not destroying
10:32the independence of judiciary,
10:35the constitutional court is the answer
10:38to the problems which Pakistan is facing today.
10:41Not only as far as the backlogs are concerned,
10:44even as far as the interpretation
10:47of the constitution is concerned.
10:49But after the government,
10:52with due respect to the law,
10:54after the government,
10:56after the first draft,
10:58as I was saying,
11:00until a cabinet is approved
11:02under the rules of principle of 1973,
11:05any legislative bill
11:09will not be passed by the parliament.
11:12Parliament is a supreme body
11:14as far as the legislation is concerned.
11:18This means that all these things
11:20have to be kept in mind.
11:22This is such a big issue.
11:24It took a lot of time
11:26to come up with this bill,
11:28to consult people,
11:30but in this,
11:32the appointment of judges,
11:34as there were not many people
11:36from the judiciary,
11:38was a challenge.
11:40And in the 19th century,
11:42the British,
11:44between the judiciary
11:46and the government,
11:48came up with this bill.
11:50And after that,
11:52the number of judges
11:54was increased.
11:56Now, the second thing is,
11:58we have to be a constitutional court.
12:00What is the composition
12:02of all these arguments?
12:04Who are the people
12:06who will be responsible
12:08for the appointment of the judges
12:10of the supreme court?
12:12Is there any change?
12:14Who will be responsible
12:16for the appointment of the judges
12:18of the High Court,
12:20the Constitutional Court
12:22and the Constitutional Court?
12:24No one is aware of this.
12:26I request Mr. Malhotra
12:28to give a defined shape
12:30to his argument.
12:32And the stakeholders,
12:34the Pakistan Bar Council,
12:36the Supreme Court Bar Association,
12:38you should give them
12:40or you need a judge.
12:42We need a judge.
12:44We need a judge.
12:46We, together,
12:48the Pakistan Bar Council
12:50and the Supreme Court Bar Association
12:52are the stakeholders
12:54of the amendment of the Constitution.
12:56And we are the stakeholders.
12:58That is why we need
13:00a good proposal,
13:02a good thought
13:04in the shape of the Constitution.
13:06In the formation of the Constitution.
13:08We will come after this break.
13:10We will come after this break.
13:40I have given the draft to you,
13:42to Mr. Naik, to the Bar Council,
13:44to the rest of the friends.
13:46In fact, I will tell you
13:48to put this draft
13:50on your website.
13:52Because
13:54the things in this
13:56are revolving more.
13:58Lawyers fraternity,
14:00apart from this,
14:02nothing else is coming.
14:04We would like to suggest
14:06that you come with us
14:08to the Pakistan Bar Council.
14:10We would like to make a committee
14:12in which the Pakistan Bar Council
14:14will be the vice chair.
14:16Sir, you will make this.
14:18I am saying that in the presence
14:20of my friends,
14:22I am present.
14:24You have called me to answer.
14:26Answer these four things.
14:28Number one, the Constitution
14:30has been debated.
14:32We understand why.
14:34Let's move ahead and tell you
14:36that we have rejected
14:38the constitutional amendment
14:40of the government.
14:42We have completely rejected
14:44the constitutional amendment
14:46of the government.
14:48The constitutional amendment
14:50has been given to someone
14:52and not to someone else.
14:54What has been handed over to us
14:56is not acceptable
14:58and is not feasible.
15:00If we had supported this amendment,
15:02it would have been treason
15:04on which Maulana has said
15:06with a smile that he does not
15:08want to talk about this issue.
15:10We have completely rejected
15:12the constitutional amendment of the government.
15:14In fact, to say that
15:16we do not have a constitutional amendment,
15:18what was provided to us?
15:20What was provided to someone
15:22and what was not provided to someone?
15:24Whatever has been handed over to us
15:26and what we have studied,
15:28in no way,
15:30in no way
15:32is it acceptable.
15:34It would have been treason
15:36on which Maulana has said
15:38with a smile that he does not
15:40want to talk about this issue.
15:58The mission to convince Maulana
16:00about the constitutional amendment
16:02is still going on.
16:04Once again,
16:06for Maulana Fazlur Rahman,
16:08we have met
16:10and discussed the constitutional amendment.
16:12I would like to say
16:14that Maulana Fazlur Rahman
16:16has been told
16:18that if you want a constitutional amendment,
16:20you should tell us
16:22and the government
16:24would like to amend it with you.
16:26In this regard,
16:28Maulana Fazlur Rahman
16:30has been told
16:32that if you want a constitutional amendment,
16:34you should tell us
16:36and the government
16:38would like to amend it with you.
16:40In this regard,
16:42Maulana Fazlur Rahman
16:44has been told
16:46that if you want a constitutional amendment,
16:48you should tell us
16:50and the government
16:52would like to amend it with you.
16:54In this regard,
16:56Maulana Fazlur Rahman
16:58has been told
17:00that if you want a constitutional amendment,
17:02you should tell us
17:04and the government
17:06would like to amend it with you.
17:08In this regard,
17:10Maulana Fazlur Rahman
17:12has been told
17:14that if you want a constitutional amendment,
17:16you should tell us
17:18and the government
17:20would like to amend it with you.
17:26The government has completely denied
17:28that we do not agree with this amendment.
17:32We have decided
17:34that we, the opposition,
17:36will work together
17:38to improve the situation.
17:42Has it ever happened
17:44that there is a constitutional amendment,
17:46a constitutional package,
17:48the people, the opposition,
17:50and even the parliamentarians
17:52have kept it a secret?
17:54There is an experiment going on.
17:58Have you seen the video?
18:00Have you seen the cruelty
18:02that his wife and daughter were kidnapped?
18:04He was asked to vote for him.
18:06Is this how the law will be enforced?
18:08Without Maulana Fazlur Rahman,
18:10it is impossible to get a constitutional amendment approved.
18:12The government of Sarbara,
18:14without any desire,
18:16was protected by the chairman of the People's Party.
18:18Bilawal Bhutto says that the People's Party
18:20is not in favour of the military courts.
18:22He wants to create a consensus
18:24and bring an amendment draft.
18:52The situation is such
18:54that we are not in favour
18:56of the military courts.
18:58If the government really thinks
19:00that it is necessary,
19:02then it should try to convince us
19:04and then try to create a consensus.
19:06As far as Mr. Khan's
19:08own character was concerned,
19:10I think the government should
19:12put forward what the evidence is.
19:14The evidence is that he directed it.
19:16You know, whichever,
19:18legally take it forward.
19:20The next Chief Justice will be Mansoor Ali Shah.
19:22The chairman of the People's Party, Bilawal Bhutto,
19:24had a conversation with the ARY.
19:26He said that he had a suggestion
19:28that the age of the judges should be reduced.
19:30The government's authority was included
19:32in the constitutional amendment.
19:34The Chief Justice's term of office is 3 years
19:36and the age limit should be 67 years.
19:38The court's amendments are not passed.
19:40There is no doubt
19:42that the next Chief Justice will be Mansoor Ali Shah.
19:44I agree that there are some politicians
19:46who have a different intention.
19:48I think that the amendments
19:50should not be person-specific.
19:52Neither in terms of age,
19:54nor in terms of keeping anyone,
19:56it is the initial appointment criteria
19:58of the Chief Justice.
20:00One suggestion is that
20:02the President of Pakistan
20:04should consult with the Chief Justice
20:06and the judges,
20:08or you should do it through the same Judicial Commission.
20:10I mean, it can be discussed.
20:12The power of the People's Party was that
20:14the government agreed and included
20:16I think there could have been
20:18a potential controversy.
20:20For the post-constitutional court,
20:22the government's suggestion was
20:24that the age of the Chief Justice
20:26should be reduced to 3 years
20:28and the age limit should be 67 years.
20:30If we had kept an age limit
20:32of 65 or 67 years,
20:34my party's position is that
20:36it would have been individual-specific.
20:38It would have looked like
20:40we are trying to keep someone out.
20:42Zulfiqar Bhutto's grandson
20:44was wearing a mask.
20:46PTR Ahnuma,
20:48outside Ali Muhammad Khan's Adiala Jail,
20:50said, before the constitutional amendment,
20:52bring our leader out.
20:54What kind of amendment is this
20:56for which the opposition is being hidden?
20:58There was no expectation from the judges,
21:00but the character of the People's Party
21:02is a big question mark.
21:04Especially Bilawal,
21:06who claims that his grandfather
21:08made the constitution
21:10and his grandson was wearing a mask
21:12All institutions have been controlled,
21:14except the judiciary.
21:16Imran Khan hopes to get justice from there.
21:18This hope wants to end it.
21:22A job where you get
21:24an extension
21:26from someone's wife
21:28is better than death.
21:30With the Supreme Court,
21:32there cannot be a second constitutional court.
21:34PTR Ahnuma,
21:36in Lahore's Media Talk,
21:38said, they are trying to bring
21:40a constitutional court,
21:42but they won't let it happen.
21:44Pakistan's federal constitutional court
21:46is only the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
21:48Without it,
21:50no federal constitutional court
21:52can be formed.
21:54They are trying very hard
21:56to bring a constitutional court
21:58in which they want
22:00to fill their doubts.
22:02They want to take their own money.
22:04Forget it,
22:06they will never let it happen.
22:08When the Chief Justice is elected,
22:10the Supreme Court judge
22:12will only be the Chief Justice.
22:14There won't be a panel of five judges.
22:16Sur Ali Shah,
22:18who will be the legitimate
22:20Chief Justice of Pakistan on 26th October,
22:22no one should look forward
22:24to that seat.
22:26It's time for a break.
22:28Stay with us.
22:32Welcome back.
22:34PM Pakhtunkhwa
22:36gave a villa to Faisal Kundi.
22:38In a speech in Peshawar,
22:40he said, Governor KP has no respect.
22:42Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto
22:44tell Faisal Kundi to harass
22:46Gandapur.
22:48If KP takes the Governor's House,
22:50he will go to a rented house.
22:52One TikToker is in Lahore
22:54and the other is here.
22:56The Governor wants a party
22:58to sit here and there
23:00and give political statements.
23:02Bilawal and Zardari say
23:04he will give a speech first
23:06and I will put some pressure.
23:08Then he says,
23:10I am told to kill myself.
23:12I have closed this poor villa
23:14in KP and Islamabad.
23:16A summary has already come here.
23:18It's old.
23:20It will be handed over to KP.
23:22Then it will go to a rented house.
23:24He has no respect.
23:26One TikToker is in Punjab
23:28and the other is here.
23:30They didn't have the opportunity
23:32to give a speech.
23:34I am not here to give a speech.
23:36I will take them out.
23:38I am ready.
23:40If someone protests against me,
23:42I will do it a hundred times.
23:44In the era of PTI,
23:46there was nothing but corruption.
23:48Mariam Nawaz's speech said,
23:50the last IT lab in schools
23:52was built in the era of Shahbaz Sharif.
23:54The Punjab Textbook Board
23:56made an easy mistake
23:58after hearing the briefing.
24:00I have a desire for further strengthening
24:02of Pakistan-Russia relations.
24:04Strengthening
24:06mutually beneficial cooperation
24:08with the Russian Federation
24:10remains an important priority
24:12of our foreign policy.
24:14Pakistan-Russia relations
24:16have come a long way.
24:18In Pakistan, there is a desire
24:20to forge strong cooperation
24:22with the Russian Federation.
24:24We believe that
24:26a step-by-step approach
24:28to trust and mutual respect
24:30has put the relationship
24:32on a very positive track.
24:34We held
24:36in-depth friendly
24:38discussions today
24:40with an agenda focused on
24:42assessment of bilateral cooperation
24:44and outlining of further potential
24:46for expansion
24:48of economic relationship
24:50between our two countries.
24:52We agreed today to identify
24:54specific projects in all areas
24:56of mutual interest on the
24:58bilateral agenda, including
25:00trade, economy,
25:02energy, connectivity,
25:04culture, educational
25:06relations, and people-to-people
25:08contacts. Pakistan-Russia
25:10bilateral trade last year reached
25:12the unprecedented
25:14mark of US$1 billion.
25:16Expansion and
25:18strengthening of trade relations by working
25:20out logistic
25:22and related issues is a priority
25:24for both sides.
25:26Energy cooperation
25:28holds potential, and we
25:30aim to explore this
25:32avenue further. We had detailed
25:34discussion this evening between the
25:36two sides. In addition,
25:38both sides are eager to develop
25:40connectivity projects, including
25:42rail and road, networks
25:44between the two countries
25:46and beyond. In terms of
25:48cultural and educational ties,
25:50we are pleased to see increased
25:52engagement between universities
25:54of our two countries.
25:56In July this year,
25:58PM Shahbaz Sharif and
26:00President Putin held a very
26:02productive and
26:04pleasant meeting on the
26:06sidelines of SCO Summit, which was
26:08held in Astana that provided
26:10an important direction for the
26:12expansion of bilateral relations.
26:14We look forward to welcome
26:16Russian Prime Minister
26:18Mr. and Ms. Huston for the
26:20Council of Heads of Government
26:22meeting next month.
26:24Another important event on our calendar
26:26of bilateral engagements
26:28in Russian Federation Council Speaker
26:30would visit Pakistan in October,
26:32which is just next
26:34month. Additionally,
26:36preparations are being made
26:38for the ninth session of the
26:40Pakistan-Russia Intergovernmental
26:42Commission on Trade,
26:44Economy, Science,
26:46Technology, Culture,
26:48which is scheduled to be
26:50held in Russia by end
26:52of this year.
26:54Our discussion today also
26:56focused on strengthening
26:58cooperation and multilateral
27:00fora, including United
27:02Nations and SCO.
27:04Pakistan is extremely grateful
27:06for Russian support
27:08to its bid for
27:10membership of Pakistan
27:12as member
27:14of the BRICS.
27:16Pakistan views Russia
27:18on an important player
27:20in the West,
27:22South and Central
27:24Asia. Pakistan-Russia
27:26have good cooperation on Afghanistan.
27:28We aim to continue
27:30cooperation with our Russian friends
27:32on realizing our common
27:34goal of peace and stability
27:36in Afghanistan.
27:38We note
27:40Russia's historically
27:42strong relations with the
27:44Muslim world and the growing
27:46cooperation with the OIC,
27:48as well as its position
27:50on the Palestine
27:52conflict. We greatly
27:54appreciate the stance of the Russian
27:56people and the government
27:58of Russia
28:00in respect for all religions
28:02and their unequivocal
28:04position that freedom of speech
28:06must not become an
28:08instrument to disrespect
28:10revered personalities
28:12or religions and not to
28:14hurt sentiments of the Muslim
28:16Ummah. I would like to once
28:18again thank Deputy Prime Minister
28:20and his delegation for the timely visit.
28:22We hope to continue
28:24high-level contacts and reiterate
28:26Pakistan's commitment
28:28to deepening and strengthening relations
28:30with the Russian Federation.
28:32I thank you all.
28:40Your Excellency,
28:42Mr. Deputy
28:44Prime Minister and the
28:46Minister of Foreign Affairs Dar,
28:48it's indeed a pleasure for myself
28:50and members of my delegation to be
28:52here in Pakistan. It is a great
28:54honor to meet
28:56with such a distinguished
28:58group of people
29:00who are
29:02demonstrating their
29:04desire and willingness
29:06to expand and develop
29:08trade and economic
29:10and cultural ties
29:12with the Russian Federation.
29:14Indeed, we are demonstrating
29:16increased depth
29:18and scope and interest
29:20in taking our relationship
29:22further, which is based
29:24on now a long history of
29:2675 years of, almost 75
29:28years of diplomatic
29:30relations between our two
29:32countries.
29:34We have had
29:36a very deep discussion
29:38today, touching all
29:40sectors of our economies,
29:42indicating interest
29:44where our countries
29:46could be helpful to each
29:48other, and
29:50it covers
29:52a wide range of areas
29:54starting from trade, energy,
29:56connectivity, education,
30:00business-to-business contacts,
30:02people-to-people. We would
30:04also be interested in expanding
30:06the regional dimension of
30:08these contacts.
30:10And we have
30:12discussed our
30:14collaboration within
30:16international organizations,
30:18including the Shanghai
30:20Organization of
30:22Corporation, and
30:24indeed the
30:26presidency in the
30:28Council of
30:30the Heads of
30:32Governments of this organization
30:34is currently within
30:36Pakistan, and within
30:38a month there will be a meeting,
30:40a prime minister-level
30:42meeting here in Islamabad,
30:44and Prime Minister
30:46Mishustin is expected to
30:48take part in this meeting.
30:50We have
30:56seen that
30:58our goals
31:00and our vision for
31:02development of economic ties
31:04and other ties within the Shanghai
31:06Organization of Corporation
31:08are very much aligned,
31:10and they include
31:12improving connectivity
31:14in the SOC region.
31:18They include
31:20the increase of share
31:22of transactions performed in
31:24national currencies.
31:26They include issues of addressing the
31:28climate agenda, food security,
31:30energy transition, and
31:32energy security. All
31:34these issues are on the table.
31:36And tomorrow
31:40our representatives
31:42of our relevant
31:44competent authorities
31:46would have the opportunity to
31:48meet and discuss
31:50this wide range of issues
31:52and specific projects
31:54that we've indicated
31:56today, just had a chance to indicate
31:58today, in a
32:00greater depth
32:02and detail. We have
32:04also discussed the prospects for
32:06collaboration between
32:08Pakistan and the Eurasian
32:10Economic Union, which is
32:12an economic union of five member
32:14states, including Armenia,
32:16Belarus, Kazakhstan,
32:18Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
32:20And we
32:22have
32:24discussed the opportunities
32:26for
32:28implementing a free trade agreement
32:30between Pakistan
32:32and our five countries,
32:34which are joined in the
32:36EIU. And
32:38this is something that
32:40we would certainly be
32:42willing to
32:44also discuss in
32:46greater detail in the
32:48months to come.
32:50Certainly we're expecting the meeting
32:52of our Intergovernmental
32:54Commission
32:56in Russia later
32:58this year, which would
33:00also provide
33:02impulse to
33:04further development
33:06of trade and economic
33:08relationship between our countries.
33:10I would once
33:12again like to thank
33:14our Pakistani
33:16hosts for this wonderful,
33:18warm hospitality. Thank you.
