00:00And Brees Hall has been really good so far this season, as we expected him to be the
00:07cornerstone of this offense until Aaron Rodgers, the 40-year-old quarterback, could dust off
00:12some of that rust.
00:14Hall 93 total yards in both games.
00:18Last week, DRS, eight targets, seven receptions, 52 yards in the receiving category in a touchdown.
00:25Braylon Allen last week, 56 total yards, two total touchdowns.
00:29We can see what Brees Hall is expected to do tonight.
00:32With that 93-plus scrimmage yards, 62-and-a-half for his rushing yards, Prop 31-and-a-half
00:39from the receiving yards component, minus 180 to hit.
00:43Peter, how much of your focus is going to be on Brees Hall for this Thursday night football
00:47game?
00:48Look, I'm waiting for the spot to really take Brees Hall.
00:51And the reason I bring that up is, like, the first couple weeks, you've played a very good
00:54defense in San Francisco, another very good defense with Tennessee.
00:57And you're going to get a quality defensive opponent tonight in a slower game tempo against
01:01New England.
01:02Because I truly believe, like, once he gets to, like, a bottom 15 or bottom 20 defense
01:06bend, we're looking at 18 carries, about 35-and-two scores out of Brees Hall.
01:11Maybe you get that tonight, because I do think the running game is going to be there all
01:14four quarters, because I don't think anybody's going to run away with the game.
01:16And if they do, it's probably more from a Jets perspective as New England Patriots.
01:20So I do think it's viable at 62-and-a-half, but you have to take a look at last week.
01:23Kenneth Walker III didn't play in that game for Seattle.
01:26Charbonnet, what did he have, 35, 40 yards in that game?
01:29You take a look at week number one, the Cincinnati game, they didn't rush for too many yards
01:33in that game either.
01:34So it's not as if I'm saying I'm licking my chops to really get after Brees Hall in this
01:37game, because I think he's going to have a dominant night.
01:39But 62-and-a-half isn't a lot.
01:40If you're the starting running back for an NFL football team in a game that we think
01:44probably stays somewhere in the 30s, and you have the lead, Brees Hall better be taking
01:48down 15-plus to 20 carries in that game, which means he should get 62-and-a-half.
01:53I'm not in love with it, because, again, I'm still trying to struggle how we're going to
01:56get a lot of points in this game.
01:57And a lot, I don't even mean bet 55, just like 42, 43 points here, 23-20 type final,
02:02you should be able to get that.
02:03So if I'm looking from the perspective, and I know you brought it up already, rushing
02:07and receiving, because he is a pretty good catcher out of the backfield, and if you get
02:11that one or two screen passes, we're going to have, okay, two catches for 26 yards, that
02:15would really help out.
02:17And so that's the scenario that I probably would look at.
02:19I like Brees Hall tonight.
02:20I think he can get the 62-and-a-half.
02:21I'm just not in love with it.
02:26I'm just not in love with it.
