Damaged Highway Leads to Trash Mountain in Eastern Taiwan

Officials say over 80,000 metric tons of garbage has amassed at a landfill in Hualien, an indirect result of an earthquake in April that damaged a main highway and hindered the amount of trash that can be sent to the nearest incinerator.
