00:04Manchester United have drawn 0-0 with Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
00:10It was one of United's best away performances under Erik Tegenhaag in the Premier League
00:14and yet it was the same old story of missed chances, missed opportunities and all in all, two points dropped.
00:21United were the better team in the first half, they really dominated the midfield showing.
00:26The story going into the game was that Marcus Rashford was dropped for rotational reasons
00:31and we understand that is true, there was no ulterior story behind it.
00:34Marcus Rashford simply rested after a bumper week came scoring against Southampton in the 2 against Barnsley.
00:41Alejandro Garton actually started in his place.
00:43Other than that, it was the same team as the one that started at St Mary's a week ago.
00:47United, like we said, were the better team, they created the better chances in the first half.
00:50They missed that clinical edge though.
00:52Joshua Xherxey played a really good match as a link-up player but in the final third he just missed those key opportunities
00:59and United were made to pay for that lack of cutting instinct in the final third.
01:05I thought De Ligt was good, he almost scored from a corner.
01:09Christian Eriksen was one of the unsung heroes of the match, he was pulling the strings in midfield
01:13but he tied as the game went on.
01:15United should have been ahead half-time, they weren't.
01:18Crystal Palace missed a great chance to take the lead themselves just before half-time when Eze fired straight at Onana.
01:24In the second half, United started the brighter of the two teams.
01:27Marcus Rashford would appear from the bench but he was unable to inspire his side.
01:31The story of the second half really was the late resurgence from Crystal Palace.
01:35A fantastic, probably a world-class double save from Andre Onana to deny Eddie Nketiah
01:40and then Ismaili Sarr what would have been a certain goal for Palace.
01:43And then after Rashford had come on, United brought Hojland on.
01:46His first appearance since pre-season, the first match of the US tour when he went off injured.
01:51He made an impact off at the focal point in the final third but he just wasn't quite up to speed yet.
01:57We'll probably see Grazminsk-Hojland start either against FC Twente in midweek
02:01or maybe against Tottenham next weekend instead.
02:03You do still sense that this United team, with Hojland in it in attack,
02:07would be able to put away some of the chances that they were missing.
02:09But full-time from Selhurst Park, United can be proud of their performance.
02:13They were definitely steps in the right direction.
02:15This was more of a performance that Tenhal wanted to see from the side.
02:18They were good on the ball, they won it back well but once again they missed some key opportunities.
02:22Full-time from Selhurst Park, Manchester United 0-0, Crystal Palace 0-0.
