The Biggest Fights Between MARVEL x DC in Movies

Marvel x DC in 2006
In 2006, X-Men: The Last Stand arrived in theaters to conclude Fox's mutant trilogy. While DC made a revival/continuation/closure for Kal-El in Superman Returns.
Both films premiered very close together, with less than 1 month between them. X-Men 3 won at the box office, making $460 million compared to Superman's $391.
However, the real dispute arose because of the behind the scenes! Since director Bryan Singer, of the first two X-Men, abandoned the third to direct Superman: The Return.
Singer's departure is directly attributed to the drop in quality in the Final Confrontation of the Mutants.

2008 – Iron Man x The Dark Knight
2008 was a very unique year for cinema and the superhero genre. This is where the “Marvel x DC” rivalry left everyone most satisfied.
Iron Man hit theaters in May and The Dark Knight shortly after. The Marvel film started the MCU in a surprising way, transforming Robert Downey Jr. into the biggest star of this century.
While Christopher Nolan's TDK needs no introduction. One of the best films in the history of heroes immortalized Heath Ledger and his incomparable Joker.
At the box office, DC left Marvel in the dust. Because we had the FIRST superhero film to reach the 1 billion mark at the box office. Something that Marvel would only achieve 4 years later.

2012 – The Avengers x The Dark Knight Rises
Avengers x Dark Knight Rises
4 years later, Nolan's Batman returned to theaters a few months after the thunderous Avengers reunion. The DC film marked the end of Nolan's trilogy, as the Marvel film brought something completely new to the public.
This time, everyone won once again. With two films and two films that reached the 1 billion dollar mark!

2016 – Marvel and DC Civil War
In 2013, DC announced the epic and promising Batman v Superman! It would be the first big meeting between the bat and the Kryptonian on the big screen and precisely FALLING IN FUCKING.
It didn't take long for Marvel to react and in 2014 they announced the counterattack with Captain America: Civil War! Which has basically the same dynamic, with Captain America and Iron Man fighting each other.
This time, only the MCU came away with billions at the box office. BvS ended up with a 'measly' 800 million in revenue, which started the whole tragic fight between Snyder and Warner.

2025 – The biggest Marvel x DC fight is coming
All of the cases listed above were marked by many arguments among fans about who was the best. However, none of these disputes will be as hot as the one we will have in 2025.
Superman, directed by James Gunn and The Fantastic Four: First Steps will premiere IN THE SAME MONTH!
Who will win the battle of opinion from fans, critics and BOX OFFICE? We will find out from July 2025.
Who do you think REALLY won these cinematic showdowns? Comment below!
