00:00We know each other pretty well, but at this stage, because it's been 30 years or so.

00:09We're at university, Taika, he did this guitar thing, acting out the wah pedal.

00:22Why did we want to make Time Bandits?

00:24I loved the film, I grew up watching the film and I've always been a fan of that.

00:30There's a whole run in the 80s of these great sort of comedy adventure films,

00:34and we wanted to try and do that kind of thing.

00:38We lived our childhood, really.

00:40For a long time, we were going to play the other parts.

00:43I've played a lot of bad guys, and eventually I just went,

00:47I know how to do that, I'll just do that instead.

00:50And Taika plays a lot of sort of wacky, creative, inventive guys.

00:55I would say goofy, but lovable.

00:58I'd love to go and see Woodstock, but just before the concert,

01:02just to make sure it's all set up nicely and then I'd leave.

01:05I would like to see some early hominids.

01:09I'd like to see some early people.
