00:04They said they had arrested a 30-year-old Namibian woman carrying bullets containing
00:08illicit drugs inside her body at Or Tambo Airport in Johannesburg.
00:12So far, she has released more than 63 of these bullets suspected to be cocaine.
00:19In the last two months, the team at Or Tambo have intercepted and arrested 10 drug mules
00:26and have seized and confiscated more than 13 million worth of drugs.
00:31The woman was coming from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
00:34A 2016 report from the U.S. State Department called South Africa the largest market for
00:38illicit drugs within sub-Saharan Africa and a transshipment point for cocaine and heroin,
00:43primarily to Europe.
