Tenby’s Deputy Mayor has flagged-up a fresh concern about Pembrokeshire County Council’s E-bikes initiative.
At this month’s meeting of the Town Council, Cllr Charles Dale told his colleagues that he felt the electric bicycles were doing ‘rather well’ as he had seen them being used more frequently.
However, he stated that no-one appears to be picking them up and replacing them.
If this was not happening, perhaps someone more local could manage the project, he suggested.
Cllr. Sam Skyrme-Blackhall noted that the drop-off point bay situated alongside the historic town walls had also not been removed.
She told her fellow councillors that she would speak to the relevant officers at PCC on the matters raised.
