00:00This video was recently released by Russia's Ministry of Defense, and these are Russian
00:04Tu-95MS bombers capable of carrying a nuclear payload, which recently completed operations
00:11just off the coast of Alaska. Those operations were conducted over the neutral waters of the
00:16Bering Sea. The ministry released a statement detailing that the mission was conducted in
00:21accordance with international law. The aircrafts appear to have remained in what is referred to
00:25as the Air Defense Identification Zone, or ADIZ, which is an area between Russia and Alaska around
00:31150 miles off the coast of U.S. territory. This comes just a couple of weeks after NORAD announced
00:37it had tracked two aircrafts operating within the same zone. At the time, they released a statement
00:42saying the Russian aircrafts remained in international airspace and did not enter
00:46American or Canadian sovereign airspace. They added that this Russian activity in the Alaska
00:51ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat. NORAD outlined that the aircraft
00:57were detected and tracked, and that no fighter jets were scrambled to intercept.
