00:00Rockaway, Rockaway Pizza. We're in White Oak, Pennsylvania. This place has all the juice
00:29and all the hype. Everybody's like, this is the one you've got to go to. Guy's a, what
00:35do you say, he used to be in a band. Oh, look at, look at, look at, oh he's crying. It's
00:44a big Doberman, so cute. Anyhow, this is the place. Little hole in the wall, great vibes
00:51inside. The guy used to be in a rock band. He said traveling, learned how to make pizza
00:54on YouTube. Are you from New York? I'm actually from here, but I lived in Brooklyn, in Creighton,
01:0120 miles south of Williamsburg. I was a touring drummer for 15 years. Oh, no kidding. Just
01:04taught myself how to make pizza from YouTube. I love pizza. So many people. Yeah, you have
01:08the hundred year old, the Al Santillo family recipes. You have also a lot of these new
01:13guys who just learned it, picked it up either during COVID or like he said, YouTube. So
01:18let's see, Rockaway looks great. I mean, it looks also like right up my alley, doesn't
01:23it? Really good looking slice here. So let's see if it lives up to it. Good put, good rip
01:29right there. That's like a new term I should be using, the rip. Like when you rip the slice
01:34off, good undercarriage. Before I get into the big score here, Roback fits me perfectly.
01:41I used to go pizza, you get 20% off. So go to roback.com. I don't know what these are.
01:47Grasshoppers maybe? Back to the pizza. Cause this, ooh, good little pump. This thing has
01:52all the makings of an eight. We'll see if it lives up to it. You can't judge a book
01:56by its cover, Austin. It's thin, great undercarriage, good rip. Let's see what we got. One bite,
02:03everybody knows the rules. Rockaway. Light too.
02:22So, I gave his buddy an 8.2 earlier on this trip, a slice in New York. And they said they
02:33know each other, they're both pizza people. So now the question in my mind is, do I want
02:38to be a dickhead and give the guy from New York slice an 8.2 versus an 8.1 and give that
02:44guy a little bit of bragging rights over the Rockaway? It's called Rockaway pizza. By the
02:48way, this place is moving in two weeks, he said. So look out for that. He's getting a
02:52little closer to the city. Oh yeah. These two friends, they're going to have to settle
03:03this like jets and the sharks because this is a good, I'm going 8.2 on this. Last time
03:12we were in Pittsburgh, we had nothing in the eights. We have two legitimate eight scores
03:16this time with Rockaway and a slice of New York. And look at it, it's right up my alley.
03:21So 8.2 Rockaway, great pizza. And again, they're moving in two weeks, so don't come here knocking
03:27down the doors unless you're going to be here in two weeks. That's our review.
03:32What's your dog's name? There's two of them, Ace and Jed. Very good.
03:39Bragging rights, one way or the other, so you get double 8.2s. Thank you. Really, really
03:43good. Awesome. Take care. I was afraid because you don't always love parm, and there's parm
03:47on that. Oh, I could taste it. I shouldn't have told you that. I didn't notice it, and
03:52I could taste it. That's good. Angelo's is still the best pizza here. Angelo's is spectacular.
03:56I like to witness a guy, his pizza's better than mine. He's been doing it a lot longer
04:00than me. Angelo's is spectacular. I'll get there. Take care. Now that's an honest pizza
04:05guy. How often do you have that? The guy just said Angelo, he goes, his pizza's better than
04:09mine. A man's got to know where his pizza is. Why do I give Angelo's? 8.4? Really? Yeah.
04:159.4. I know pizza.
