00:00I'm Frederick Richard, and you're watching Us Weekly.
00:02Ooh, it's a dangerous question.
00:05So, the medal's supposed to be at my home
00:07in a nice, good shelf, right?
00:09But we're on tour, and I assume there might be
00:12some spots where I need it, depending on things we do.
00:15So, currently, the medal, the Olympic medal,
00:18is sitting in a backpack right now.
00:20So, okay, I really do have a wild story,
00:23which is awkward, because it's an Olympic medal.
00:26I guess people assume, like, you can take care of it perfectly,
00:29but then they forget, like, you use the medal
00:31for certain things, for certain events and stuff,
00:34so it's hard keeping track of it perfectly wherever you go.
00:37But, so, one, I brought the medal on a tour
00:40around France after the Olympics,
00:42and I had it in my pocket, because I didn't want to wear it.
00:45It gets heavy, because I didn't want to wear it those times,
00:46so I put it in my pocket.
00:48But I forgot that I had, I put gum in a wrapper
00:51in my pocket earlier that day,
00:54and the gum basically escaped the wrapper enough
00:57to get some gum all over the medal.
00:59And I had to clean it off, but I felt so bad
01:01looking at my Olympic medal with gum on it,
01:03and I was like, dang, I suck, is basically what I told myself.
01:08Of course, I was watching Steven's performance
01:10and the other people's, because I wanted to compare it,
01:12see where he stacks up.
01:14Honestly, it was the best performance I saw.
01:16I think he actually prepared very well for it,
01:19and it came out perfect.
01:20It, like, fit his character and his partner's character
01:23of, like, very upbeat, fast, a lot of jumps and, like, flashiness,
01:28which he's an athlete, so he can do that.
01:29So I feel like he just kind of destroyed
01:31the other competitors that couldn't move
01:32the same way he did.
01:34But it was really fun to watch,
01:35and I think he's going to be great.
01:37Okay, low of the village.
01:38Probably when I first got there,
01:40and I thought I was going to have a room to myself,
01:42and then I figure out that we're, like,
01:44we're really, like, college dorm situations,
01:47rooming with somebody.
01:48Obviously, luckily, it was my teammate,
01:49so I was, like, it sucked, but I was like, okay, I'm chill.
01:52I was rooming with Brody, so I was like, I'll handle it.
01:54Funny thing is, Steven Natarasek,
01:56he had a room to himself,
01:57or he thought he had a room to himself.
01:59Then, like, two days later, a trampoline gymnast came in,
02:02and he didn't have a room to himself,
02:03and this was someone he didn't know as well as I knew Brody,
02:06so worse for him than me, at least.
02:08But I think that part sucked.
02:10Parts I loved?
02:12I don't know.
02:12There was some crazy stuff going on, apparently.
02:14I feel like I was missing all of that
02:15because I was focused on competition,
02:17but I just love, like, the access to, like, the sauna.
02:20I was using that every day,
02:21and the ice bath just to stay in shape.
02:25I didn't even get to have any of, like, the chocolate muffins
02:27or whatever everybody was talking about.
