00:00Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are in full campaign swing with both pledging to grow the
00:04number of U.S. jobs if they're elected. Harris has touted a plan of making jobs available to
00:09all Americans, not just those with college degrees. However, Trump recently seemingly
00:14announced part of his plan at a rally in Georgia, which includes stealing jobs from other countries.
00:20So as your president, here is the deal that I will be offering to every major company and
00:26manufacturer on earth. I will give you the lowest taxes, the lowest energy costs,
00:36the lowest regulatory burden and free access to the best and biggest market on the planet.
00:42Countries he mentioned included Germany and their auto manufacturing companies,
00:46as well as Chinese electronics producers. Part of the pledge also included special
00:51manufacturing zones built on federal lands. Though it's unclear if that public land will
00:55be sold or leased to foreign nations, it's also unclear what interest, if any, foreign companies
01:00have in the program, especially considering the cost of American labor and protections of that
01:05same workforce. Under my leadership, we're going to take other countries jobs. Did you ever hear
01:11that expression before? Have you ever heard that we're going to take other countries jobs?
01:15It's never been stated before. Trump then went on to claim that's how things were four years ago
01:20when he was president. Though he didn't provide any examples of manufacturing jobs,
01:24he created.
