A tough start but they must keep going.

00:00So, Charlie, let's start with Wolves and looking at their worrying sort of start to the Premier League season and doing some research myself,
00:09it was actually the hardest start across the whole division in terms of up to power rankings.
00:15You know, they rank the sort of how difficult and easy fixtures can be and Wolves have had the hardest run in the league.
00:23But you also can't get carried away with looking ahead and thinking there's easier fixtures to come, which there is.
00:29It might be in a couple of months, but that sort of makes, you know, having such a bad start also makes those easier games even more pressured as well.
00:38So it's not been the best of starts. It's also one win in 15 for Gary O'Neill's side, which is certainly worrying.
00:45You know, these are the facts that the fans have had to deal with.
00:49But now that they lose their centre-back in Yersin Mosquera as well, it's not looking great for them.
00:55The way they've gone, because, yes, it's not done well at one point in the bottom of the division, but they have at times played some good football.
01:02It's just about holding on to the leads, for example.
01:06I've been at a lot of Wolves games, covering them recently, and it's just such a weird story because you're sat there writing a report that's actually quite positive most of the time.
01:15And then there's 20 minutes to go and it's just the capitulation defensively and it all goes to pot.
01:20The fact they haven't got a single win this season in the league, obviously they beat Burnley in the Carabao Cup.
01:25Goals from Gonzalo Guedes had a decent game away at Brighton in terms of the second half showing.
01:30Nearly went through there, but lost 3-2 because of a late goal.
01:33There have been some positive signs. I'm just very surprised they haven't picked up that Premier League win yet.
01:38One draw in their opening games and bottom of the table along with Everton, who everyone has been talking about as being one of the worst teams out there.
01:47Wolves are at the exact same level, same amount of points.
01:49Same results, same goals scored, same conceded.
01:52But Gary O'Neill is right. The fixtures have been very difficult and things should take an upturn as things get better.
01:59I don't know if it's maybe a little bit of a psychological thing as well, looking at those fixtures and getting a bit ahead of themselves.
02:06And you maybe 1-0 up in the game and 70 minutes in you're thinking, oh, should we really be in this position?
02:11Does that get to the players' heads maybe?
02:14It's unacceptable if it does at this kind of level in the Premier League.
02:17You get very punished for losing concentration.
02:20And that, unfortunately, is what's been happening to Wolves as they're rock bottom.
02:23They've had some real terrible fall apart in second halves of games.
02:27I think that Chelsea one in particular, it should have been more of a wake up call than it has been.
02:32They've not lost 6-2 since then, but still the same kind of errors are being made and they're so costly.
02:39And who's impressed you the most?
02:41Obviously, there has been some positives to take so far this evening.
02:45Andre coming in had a magnificent debut, breaking that sort of successful past record in the Premier League.
02:52There has been some good signs, couldn't you, with a fantastic goal away at Aston Villa.
02:56Maybe it's the defence that's maybe lacked a bit this season so far.
03:01Who stood out for you the most?
03:03Mario Lamina, I think, has been really impressive once again.
03:07Obviously, the new captain of Wolves and has been stepping up into a bit more of an advanced role.
03:11Last year, he was maybe a bit more in front of the defence, obviously, towards the end of the season.
03:15He was an attacker when Wolves didn't have any forwards left and when they're all injured.
03:19But going into that attacking midfield role, I think he can get really involved in the build up to attacks.
03:24He can use his energy. He can defend from the front as well.
03:26And it makes Wolves quite a positive team to watch.
03:28But as you say, it has been a defence falling apart.
03:31Rayne Nouria, I think, has been really disappointing defensively with his positioning recently.
03:36Maybe more of a left midfield role could work for him.
03:39But, of course, with Toti Gomez having his own injury problems, is that going to work?
03:43Wolves don't have the depth at the back either.
03:45Obviously, Muskera is now out for the season as well.
03:47It is quite worrying in terms of that back line.
03:50They need to sort themselves out, keep their concentration, build their fitness levels up a bit
03:54and they should start to improve their results.
