An Irish film detailing the harrowing life of a Catholic priest evading capture during Penal times has won a prestigious Gabriel award, considered the United States Emmys of Faith Broadcasting.
The film, 'Faith of Our Fathers,' was commissioned by global satellite giant EWTN and was written and produced in Ireland with an exclusively Irish cast and crew. It features a strong selection of Newry talent behind the camera, including Aidan Gallagher, who is Executive Producer of the film commissioned by EWTN; Italo Cafolla from Newry, Production Coordinator on the film set; and Katrina Doran, a past pupil of Our Lady's Grammar School, from Newry was Hair & Make up Designer on the film production.
