00:00Brat summer is over bestie it's time to enter your historical era. The Royal
00:05Armouries is the most Sigma day out in Leeds. No cap. Slay. Smol.
00:12My name is Mark Murray-Flutter. I'm the CD curator at the Royal Armouries Museum and I've just gone viral on TikTok.
00:22The Lion Armour is serving main character energy, Pop-Off Queen.
00:29And it's been an interesting and extraordinary experience. One I have enjoyed immensely.
00:36And it's one I believe that people have found both interesting and amusing.
00:42And for anyone who's not seen the video Mark, what does it entail and how did you find yourself a part of it?
00:50The video in question is me engaging with the Generation Z with the language which is current, particularly from TikTok and Twitter and Instagram.
01:04And I'm attempting, or more than attempting, I'm engaging with this generation which has been quite interesting for me to learn.
01:14And I'm even beginning to use it in my own everyday language.
01:19The vibes are immaculate. Enjoy a goated day out. Slay.
01:26And the video has just exploded online hasn't it? Millions of views. People all over the world watching it.
01:33And you've had a lot of attention on you the last week or so since it's gone viral. How has the whole experience been?
01:39The experience has been extraordinary. I've never had to worry about being recognised on a trade for instance.
01:47I now have to worry about that. Or not worry, it is nice.
01:52Has that happened to you since?
01:53Yes it has.
01:54Oh really? Wow.
01:55That's been very nice. And one of the nicest things of all has been the very positive comments which have come through about the video.
02:03And you've been enjoying using the language as well and putting that into your everyday life. What are some of the phrases?
02:10The phrases are things like pop off queen or slay. These sorts of phrases. It's fun to say as long as you get it in the right places.
02:21And when you're using them to describe elephant armour and dioramas it gives an extra sort of...
02:27Or if I'm talking to the chat, that means by the way, you all, the big group. I can use those phrases.
02:36And also it's gotten a lot of attention on the armouries itself.
02:41I mean the purpose is indeed to promote the museum. I work for the museum so it is a natural and very easy thing to see what's happened.
02:51And we are extremely pleased with the response. I mean how can you not be when you've had over 8 million views.
02:59Henry VIII is the original Rissler. His codpiece hits different.
03:04This is the largest display of arms and armour since the 19th century. Very based.
03:09Chat, this diorama is sending me. Dioramas are lit.
