00:00Notre Dame against the Mac team. Could it be Dicey under
00:06the watchful eye of touchdown Jesus in South Bend once again
00:10against the reigning Mac champs in Miami of Ohio. Notre Dame
00:15against Mac teams. Seven and one straight up with an average
00:18margin of 22.4 points per game. Their victory margin. That only
00:22loss of course two weeks ago against Northern Illinois
00:26losing outright as a twenty-eight and a half point
00:29underdog. But Kev, a pretty similar spread. Near four
00:32touchdowns today against Miami of Ohio. And you mentioned it.
00:37Last week. Bounce back game for Notre Dame. They win sixty-six
00:40to seven. Cruising past the Boilermakers in West Lafayette.
00:44Easily covering as a seven and a half point road favorite
00:47against Purdue. What do we see out of Notre Dame? Week four
00:50against yet another Macpho. So just to kind of reemphasize the
00:53points that we were making during the wait list with
00:55Notre Dame. But they beat the spread the spread expectations
01:00by 51 and a half against Purdue. They're lost to Northern
01:04Illinois. They beat they lost to the spread by thirty and a
01:07half. Meaning that it was three touchdowns more unlikely what
01:13they did to Purdue than what happened against Northern
01:15Illinois who is ranked. I'm not trying to defend Notre Dame.
01:20I'm again I don't need to bet this game. Marcus Freeman
01:24though should have his team ready to absolutely unload and
01:30roll Miami of Ohio. It doesn't need to be by twenty-eight. It
01:33should be by twenty plus. This is kind of just a look ahead
01:36bet. But if Notre Dame does what they are supposed to which
01:39is get up and roll a bad team because of what happened
01:42Northern Illinois. Louisville will be a very sharp side next
01:46week because then Notre Dame will get it over inflated in
01:49the market for beating up on bad teams they're supposed to
01:52be. Yeah, I don't see any way how Miami of all can compete in
01:56regards to putting up points. That's a cause of concern.
01:58They're rushing for thirty-two yards on the ground. They're
02:01completely one dimensional. Now, Brett Gabbert is an
02:04experienced quarterback. This team was supposed to be one of
02:07the better in terms of the Mac. They've started and limped
02:09right out of the gate. Oh and two. But if I'm Notre Dame and
02:13I'm Marcus Freeman, right? Miami of all is giving up 182
02:16rushing yards per game. We know we can run it. I need to see
02:19Riley Leonard in that offense challenge defenses over the top
02:23because if they are in fact the contender, they need to know
02:27that Riley Leonard can lead them from behind. It's the same
02:30situation they had with Sam Hartman only worse. At least
02:33Hartman could throw touchdown passes. His first game against
02:36Navy threw four. I mean, we have none. We're in week number
02:40four, Ben. They only allowed thirty-eight rushing yards to
02:43Purdue last week. You mentioned it. The Red Hawks thirty-two
02:46yards per game on the ground. They're owing two. Miami of
02:49Ohio under Chuck Martin. Two-time Mac champion in the
02:53last five years. An eleven-win football team a season ago. But
02:57this year, they're owing two. They played Northwestern to
03:00start. Did not score many points in that one and then
03:02Cincinnati last week in what is a rivalry game. The battle for
03:08the victory bell. So, they're owing two against the spread as
03:10a three-point underdog in both. Getting twenty-seven and a half
03:14today in South Bend. The last three years as an underdog
03:17prior to 2024 under Chuck Martin twelve and seven against
03:21the spread. Just something to keep in mind.
