00:00It's the Big Ten opener for both the Huskers and the Illini.
00:06It's the Big Ten opener for Michigan. The Rennie National
00:09Champs and the Big Ten debut of USC in the big house on
00:15Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor and Joe will talk a lot about
00:18line movement. It's one of the themes for week four. This is
00:22not necessarily moving a ton in the last 48 hours but moved a
00:26ton from where it opened in the summer. Michigan was a nine
00:30and a half point favorite for the early look at this week
00:33four matchup in the Big Ten opener against Southern Cal. It
00:36is now five and a half points. Two touchdowns of movement in
00:40favor of USC. Is the move too drastic or does it feel fitting
00:45for where these two teams enter this week four matchup? I gotta
00:51say we have never seen a look ahead line like that and now
00:56here we go. Michigan again at home being an underdog getting
01:01five and a half points. We had the same conversation a couple
01:04of weeks ago about Texas, right? We said how in the world
01:07why are they're just begging you to take Michigan like
01:10they're begging you. Well, I think we're at the point now
01:15where you have to make a decision with this Michigan
01:17team. If they are an underdog at home, then there's probably
01:21a good reason for it. Coming off of by Lincoln Riley
01:25offensively, can they have success against this defense
01:30that's been on the field entirely too much so far this
01:32season. Yeah. For Michigan here, you got a quarterback
01:35change but the quarterback change just means they're gonna
01:38run the ball more and if they're gonna run the ball,
01:40that's the one thing that USC defense has not been good at so
01:44far this year but they know what's coming coming out of the
01:47Can they make the adjustments and win this game rather
01:51easily? I'm of the mindset. It's a down year for Michigan
01:55when they are getting points at home. They're getting them for
01:58a reason and chances are it's probably not enough. They were
02:02the underdog against Texas near a touchdown. The Longhorns
02:05brought the fight to the maze in blue. They held Michigan to
02:08only 80 yards on the ground. Davis Warren started that game.
02:12It is now Alex Orgy but Joe is right. It's a downfield rushing
02:16attack for Michigan in this matchup. USC did plank Utah
02:21State in its most recent game. That was week two. It was the
02:24first shutout Southern Cal has pitched since 2011. Can they
02:30stand the test though against a Michigan offense that ran for
02:33more than 300 last week against Arkansas State and that is
02:36going to be the theme. Run the damn ball for the maze in blue
02:40on Saturday.
