Son puts mum's face on 17m billboard as a surprise

A son surprised his mum by putting her face on one of the biggest billboards in Europe.  Oliver Ryan, 22, wanted to show mum Theresa Ryan, 56, how much he appreciates all she does for the family.  And he could think of no better way than putting a photo of her holding a glass of prosecco on the  17.6m x 17.4m billboard in Victoria Warehouse, Manchester.  He surprised her with it by inviting her to go to lunch nearby.

00:00Today I'm going to surprise my mum by putting her face on one of Europe's biggest digital billboards.

00:07After a scroll through mum's Instagram I found the perfect photo for a quick edit to look like a billboard.

00:12Jumped on the first train to Manchester and made a quick plan for today and I could not wait.

00:18So I've just arrived in Manchester off to see some of the team at the LNX office.

00:22I've just found out the visual is being loaded onto the Manchester screen at 1pm.

00:27So I'm so excited to see mum's reaction when she walks past.

00:31After a little test I think we're ready.

00:33Guys I can't believe the size of this Manchester screen.

00:36It is enormous. Mum is going to be absolutely shocked when she sees this.

00:41She thinks we're going for lunch. She's five minutes away. Let's go get her.

00:45Mum's starting walking. What she doesn't know around this corner is going to be the absolute shock of her life.

00:52Hi mum, you ready for lunch?

00:54We're just going for a nice Nando's I thought.

00:56I've come all this way, I thought we might go somewhere a bit different than Nando's.

01:02It's taken so long to get up here.

01:09Oh my god. What is that? That is crazy. That's me.

01:16Oh my god, that is so crazy. It's huge.

01:21It's one of the biggest screens in Europe.
