00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:03In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:07O Seen and the Wise Qur'an
00:14You are from among the messengers on a straight path
00:21The revelation of the Almighty, the Most Merciful
00:25That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless
00:35The Word has come into effect on most of them, so they do not believe
00:41Indeed, We have placed shackles around their necks, so that it is to their chins, so that they are straitened
00:52And We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, so that We have covered them, so that they do not see
01:04And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they do not believe
01:15You only warn those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Merciful in the unseen, so give him good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward
01:28Indeed, it is We who give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear record
01:42And set forth for them an example of the people of the city when the messengers came to it
01:52When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened with a third, and they said, Indeed, we are messengers to you
02:05They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not sent down anything, you are but lying
02:20They said, Our Lord knows that we are to you messengers
02:27And we are only responsible for clear communication
02:32They said, Indeed, we have taken leave of you, but if you do not cease, we will surely stone you, and a painful punishment will surely touch you from us
02:47They said, Your leave is with you, if you are reminded, but you are a transgressing people
03:00And there came from the farthest part of the city a man running, he said, O my people, follow the messengers
03:10Follow those who do not ask you for a reward while they are guided
03:16And why should I not worship the One who created me and to Him you will be returned
03:23Should I take besides Him gods? If the Most Merciful intends for me good, their intercession will not avail me in the least, nor will they save me
03:37Indeed, then I am in manifest error
03:43Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen
03:49It was said, Enter Paradise
03:51He said, O would that my people knew what my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored
04:01And We did not send down on his people after him any soldiers from the sky, nor would We have sent them down
04:20It was not but a single cry, and at once they were silent
04:27O regret for the servants! There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him
04:40Did they not see how many generations We had destroyed before them that to them they would not return
04:49And all of them, when they were all with Us, were brought
04:56And a sign for them was the dead earth. We revived it and brought out of it grain, and from it they ate
05:09And We placed therein gardens of date-palms and grapevines, and We caused therein to burst forth springs
05:20That they might eat of its fruit, and that which their hands had produced. Will they not then be grateful
05:29Exalted is He who created all kinds of things from that which the earth produces, and from themselves, and from that which they know not
05:43And a sign for them is the night. We bring forth from it the day, and at once they are wronged
05:52And the sun runs to the abode of Allah. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing
06:02And the moon, We have determined its phases, until it returns to you, the old crescent
06:10The sun should not reach the moon, nor should the night overtake the day
06:20And all will be in an orbit, swimming
06:27And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in a loaded ship
06:35And We created for them from the like of it that which they ride
06:40And if We will, We can drown them, but there will be no cry for them, nor will they be saved
06:48Except as a mercy from Us, and a provision for a time
06:53And when it is said to them, fear that which is before you and that which is behind you, that you may be shown mercy
07:02And no sign comes to them of the signs of their Lord, except that they turn away from them
07:11And when it is said to them, spend from that which Allah has provided you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe,
07:25Shall we feed him whom Allah would have fed? You are not but in manifest error
07:35And they say, when is this promise, if you are truthful?
07:41They do not wait except for one blast which will seize them while they dispute
07:49They will not be able to make a command, nor will they return to their people
07:57And the trumpet will be blown, and at once they will descend from the graves to their Lord
08:05They will say, O woe to us! Who has raised us from our bed?
08:11This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth
08:16It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us
08:25So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
08:34Indeed, the companions of Paradise today are in a fruitful occupation
08:41They and their wives are reclining on couches in the shade
08:48They will have therein fruit, and they will have what they ask for
08:53Peace is a word from the Merciful Lord
08:58And stand apart today, O criminals
09:03Did I not make a covenant to you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan?
09:10Indeed, he is to you a manifest enemy
09:14And that you worship me, this is a straight path
09:19And he has led many of you astray, did you not then understand?
09:27This is Hell, which you were promised
09:34Burn therein today for what you used to disbelieve
09:40Today We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us
09:47And their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn
09:53And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, but they hastened to the path, so how could they see?
10:03And if We willed, We could have wiped over their place, but they could not pass or return
10:13And whoever We give life to, We give him back in creation. Do they not then understand?
10:22And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it necessary for him. It is only a reminder and a clear Qur'an
10:32That he may warn those who are alive, and that the word may be justified against the disbelievers
10:42Do they not see that We have created for them from that which Our hands have made cattle, and they are its owners?
10:52And We have made it low for them, and from it they ride, and from it they eat
10:59And they have therein benefits and drinks. Will they not then be grateful?
11:05And they have taken besides Allah gods that they may be helped
11:11They will not be able to help them, and they are for them soldiers brought.
11:17So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.
11:26Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm, and then he is a clear adversary?
11:36And he sets forth for Us an example, and he forgets his own creation. He says,
11:40Who gives life to bones while they are scattered?
11:43Say, He gives life to it who created it the first time, and He is Knowing of every creation.
11:53He who made for you from the green tree a fire, and then from it you ignite.
12:03Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create like them?
12:12Yes, and He is the Knowing Creator.
12:16His command, when He intends a thing, is only to say to it, Be, and it is.
12:25So exalted is He in Whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned.
