00:52to learn that she'll be joining the cast of Maka.
00:55I was surprised when I learned
00:57that I'll be a part of Maka
01:00because it was so sudden.
01:02I remember going on the audition
01:05but I didn't expect it.
01:07So I was surprised
01:08and I'm really excited to go back to acting.
01:12In Maka, Shanti will be starring as Shanti Villanueva,
01:15the most popular grade 9 in Maka High.
01:18But what most people don't know is
01:20that she has a lot of insecurities
01:22and her family doesn't value
01:24her love for performance arts.
01:26Shanti's role in the series will have a contrast
01:29where Zeph will be a threat to her
01:31and she'll do everything to stay on top.
01:34She's a crush of school.
01:37She's a popular girl in school
01:38because she likes to perform.
01:41She likes performing on stage and everything
01:44and she's very confident.
01:45She's very competitive
01:48because even among her classmates,
01:51she always tries to still be number one.
