00:00I'm really excited this entire process of pageantry has just been a dream for me
00:06My dad was actually the one who introduced me to pageantry
00:09He told me that I should go for it when I didn't even know what it was when my name was announced
00:14That was my highlight. It has to it. It's
00:17Embedded in my memories, and I'm gonna remember it forever
00:22Thank you
00:30So
00:33I'm really excited. But most importantly I know for a fact that this is happening in a month
00:38So I need to be extremely prepared. So my attention and all my
00:43Efforts are put into that one month before Miss Universe takes place in Mexico
00:53Something that must have you know motivated you to be here to
00:58Have this journey, how would you describe it?
01:00I would say hard work
01:02But when you love something so much it doesn't feel like you're putting that much work, and it just feels like it's flowing
01:07So this entire process of pageantry has just been a dream for me, and I really really enjoy it
01:17My biggest role model my first role model was my dad and is always going to be my dad
01:22he inspires me because everything he says turns out to be true and
01:26I always see what he does in the
01:29Efficiency and his work the values that he has everything that he does and says it very much aligns with mine
01:37So about the support that you have, I can guess that you have got immense support from your family
01:44But how would you tell like how your family or parents have been through this journey with you?
01:49And how do we call it?
01:51I have a lot of gratitude for them and my sister as well because
01:54They have been there through the ups and the downs through the highs and the lows
01:59through it all
02:01My dad was actually the one who introduced me to pageantry
02:04He told me that I should go for it when I didn't even know what it was and so I think I'm very grateful for
02:09Them because they've always been there, and I think they're going to continue for as long as they can
02:23It has to be when they called out my name when I was holding hands
02:27with the beautiful
02:29Co-participant that I had and then when my name was announced that was my highlight it has to it
02:36It's embedded in my memories, and I'm going to remember it forever
02:52One really good thing about pageantry is it allows you to take up an advocacy and speak it allows you to have a voice
02:59and so I would love to take forward my advocacy which is
03:04Very important for the youth because our youth in India is very skilled
03:09But they don't have the power of communication or they're lacking in some places
03:12So I would love to take forward my advocacy and I also have my acting career blooming
03:18So I would love to focus on that as well
03:30I
03:33Think it's very important to focus on the good things
03:36It's very important to focus on all the benefits that I'm getting out of this all the benefits that I can give to the society
03:42and so I can't recall anything that I would have much rather not done or would have changed because
03:48everything that has happened happened for the good and
03:51Everything that could have been considered to be negative. Maybe is what I've considered to be my learning
03:59Absolutely
04:16My message is not just to women it's to men it's to everybody out there that we need to spread more awareness on
04:24being kind
04:26Being human just being human will solve the problem
04:30We do not need to have anything against women
04:34I don't think what we do all the things that all the crimes that happen with women
04:39they are so wrong and they need to stop and
04:42I absolutely think that it's an atrocity and we need to move away from it as soon as possible and spread more awareness about it
04:49What kind of events or competitions that you look forward to?
04:54Well Miss Universe is happening in a month in Mexico, and I can't wait for it
04:59The preparations are going in full swing and yeah, that's the thing. I'm looking forward to right now
05:06Any special message that you would like to give to the youth
05:10We say that youth is the future
05:12Absolutely, I would love to say that focus on what you love do what you love and never forget
05:19What your roots are? I think it's very important for the youth to recognize that because they're on a very big journey
05:24I think the youth has a lot of opportunities these days, especially in India
05:28So to not forget where you come from and to always stay grounded. That is very important
05:43Be authentically you it's very easy to lose yourself on this kind of journey
05:46And so to be intact to stay you and to project that because people want to see who you are
05:52People want to be inspired by you not inspired by somebody else. They want to be they want to see you and see your journey
05:58So I think it's very important to be authentically you not to lose yourself and be proud about it
