00:00I welcome all of you with Islamic greetings, As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
00:26May peace, mercy and blessing of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala be on all of you.
00:31It's an honour for me to be invited by the organisers of this event, which is to mark
00:37the solidarity after one lunar year after the attack on Gaza which took place on the
00:447th of October 2023.
00:47And we know from the report of Al-Jazeera two days ago on the 24th of September 2024
00:55that total 41,467 people in Gaza have been killed.
01:02These are the confirmed records and 95,921 people have been seriously wounded.
01:09Of course, the actual figure will be much more.
01:12There will be tens of thousands of people more who have been killed and hundreds of
01:16thousands who have been wounded.
01:18These are the confirmed cases known to the authorities of Gaza.
01:25And we know that for the last one year, what has been happening is nothing but a genocide
01:32in Gaza.
01:33And we are in solidarity with the people of Palestine, especially Gaza, for the last 75
01:39years that they have been struggling and fighting for the freedom, especially the last one year.
01:45Since the 7th of October 2023, since the last one lunar year, the struggle has reached
01:52its pinnacle.
01:54And we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that may the people who have been martyred,
02:00may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant them Janat al-Firdos al-Ala, and may the people who
02:05have suffered, who have been wounded, and we know that more than 80 percent of the people
02:09of Gaza have been displaced, we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to give them istiqama,
02:14to give them sabr, to give them steadfastness, to give them patience and solace.
02:21What the people of Palestine, especially the people of Gaza, are doing is they are doing
02:27fard qifaya.
02:29They are protecting the third holiest site in Islam, that is Masjid al-Aqsa.
02:35If they would not have been there, we would have to do that job.
02:39So the full Muslim ummah is thankful to the people of Palestine, especially the people
02:45of Gaza.
02:46And the atrocities that have happened in the last one year particularly, it is unbelievable.
02:55And this is the first time that there is a genocide which is being telecast live.
03:01There have been many genocides before, which we come to know, we get evidence sometimes
03:05after years, sometimes after months, sometimes after weeks.
03:08This is the first time in the history of humankind that a genocide what was happening
03:13in Gaza for the last one lunar year has been telecast live on the social media.
03:20And we know that the atrocities that have been done on the people of Gaza, what Israel
03:26has done, they have broken almost all the rules of international laws.
03:32They are selectively targeting innocent civilians.
03:36They are bombarding hospitals.
03:39They are stopping the relief material that is reaching to Gaza, whether it be medicine,
03:44whether it be water, whether it be electricity.
03:47And according to reports, the people that have been killed, more than two-third were
03:53women and children.
03:55It is nothing but a genocide.
03:58And when we see what is happening in Gaza, it is a reminder to us Muslims, when we read
04:03the Quran, when we read the Hadith, how the Sahabas, how they sacrificed their lives,
04:09how they did Jiddu Jihad, they struggled for the cause of Islam.
04:13When we see what is happening in Gaza, it is a reminder.
04:16It makes us understand the Quran better.
04:18It makes us Muslims to understand the Hadith better.
04:21When we see a mother whose child or a son has been martyred, and she is praying to Allah
04:28subhanahu wa ta'ala that even if you give me ten more children, I would love to martyr
04:33them for your cause, here we are seeing genuineness, the Iman.
04:40And when the non-Muslims, when they are watching these videos which are going viral, they are
04:47shocked.
04:48What kind of Iman do these people have?
04:50What kind of religion are they following?
04:52What kind of faith do they follow?
04:54What kind of God do they follow?
04:55Who is this Allah?
04:57That even after so much of atrocities is being done, instead of complaining, they are saying
05:04Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah.
05:06They are saying MashaAllah, as Allah wills.
05:08They are shocked.
05:10So much so that in the last one lunar year, we have reports of tens of thousands of non-Muslims
05:17who have accepted Islam only by watching the news of Gaza.
05:22Only by knowing what has happened in Gaza, there are tens of thousands of non-Muslims
05:26all over the world, especially in western countries that have accepted Islam.
05:32And we find a larger number, tens of millions of non-Muslims.
05:37Before this, the non-Muslims hardly knew what was happening in Gaza, what was happening
05:42in Palestine for the last 75 years.
05:45And there was a one-sided narration in the media.
05:47Now when they are seeing, their eyes are opening.
05:50They have realized the truth, so much so that now there are tens of millions of non-Muslims
05:57who have come to know about Islam.
05:59And we find them in protest.
06:02Large number of non-Muslims are protesting all over the world, not only in Muslim countries,
06:07in non-Muslim countries against the atrocities, what is happening in Gaza.
06:12Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the Quran, in Surah Imran, chapter number 3, verse number
06:1654,
06:17مَقَرُوا مَقَرَ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مَا قَرِيْنٌ
06:19They planned and plotted, Allah to plan, Allah is the best of planner.
06:22Allah says,
06:23يَمْكُرُوا يَمْكَرَ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مَا قَرِيْنٌ
06:25They planned and plotted, Allah is the best of planner.
06:28Here we see that whatever atrocities they are doing now, it's open to the world.
06:33It is a double standard what they talk about human rights.
06:36It's nothing but a violation of the human rights.
06:40We are here when one lunar year has been completed.
06:44We are here in solidarity for the people of Gaza.
06:47Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is with you.
06:49We request you to continue your struggle and inshallah we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
06:54so that he gives you the best in this world as well as in the Akhira.
06:58I'd given a speech on this topic of 15-point action plan or 13-point action plan for the
07:06Muslim Ummah for the Palestinian cause and time will not permit me to repeat all the points
07:13but it is a fard for every Muslim.
07:15The least we can do is pray for the people of Palestine is to pray for the people of Gaza
07:21and the best time to pray is in the last one-third of night in tahajjud, in your sujood
07:27because Allah answers the prayer the best at that time
07:31and we find Muslim Ummah in many countries.
07:33They are reading the Nuzul-e-Qunut in every salah.
07:38In five times salah in jamaat they are praying for the people of Palestine.
07:42It is the duty that we pray for them.
07:44It is the duty that we spread the atrocities that is being done on the people of Gaza all over the world
07:50on our social media whether it be on Facebook, whether it be on YouTube, whether it be Instagram.
07:54See to it that you bring an awareness all over the world.
07:57It's your duty and we have to protest against the atrocities.
08:01Protests many a times does wonders
08:04and what we find that in the last few months
08:08the protests have not only been in the Muslim countries
08:11they have been in the non-Muslim countries
08:13even in America, in UK, in European countries.
08:17All these countries are strong allies of Israel
08:21and we see the common man, the non-Muslims coming in huge numbers
08:26in tens of thousands, in hundreds of thousands
08:29in large numbers protesting against the atrocities that is being done on the people of Gaza
08:35and we find that today only because of what's happening in Gaza
08:40and the way the people in Gaza are reacting
08:42the Iman that they have
08:44we find that the tens of millions of non-Muslims
08:47they have come closer to Islam
08:49and we have to see to it that we contribute the best that we can
08:54for the cause of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
08:56We have to see to it that whatever you have
08:59whatever limited resources Allah has given you
09:01or whatever maximum resources Allah has given you
09:03you have to sacrifice that for the cause of the people of Gaza
09:07so that we get the ajar in return
09:09and even boycotting is a very good strategy
09:14and we know because of the boycott that has been done in the past several months
09:18there has been a great loss for companies like Starbucks
09:21like companies like McDonald's
09:23which are supporters of the atrocities
09:26supporting Israel in atrocities done on the people of Gaza
09:30and we find that they have gone in huge losses
09:34in huge losses so much so that
09:36that many of the people who were supporting Israel
09:39in attacking Gaza are now supporting Gaza.
09:43We have to do our duty as Muslims
09:45and I would like to end this short speech of mine
09:49in just reminding the people
09:52that what the people of Gaza are doing are phenomenal.
09:56May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala reward you
09:58May Allah grant you the highest levels of Jannah
10:01May Allah give you sabr
10:02May Allah give you istiqamah
10:04and it is the duty of every Muslim
10:06that we stand by the people of Gaza
10:08and we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
10:10that may he solve all your problems
10:12and let peace prevail back into the land of Palestine.
10:17I would like to end the speech
10:19with the ayah I quoted of surah Isra
10:21chapter 17 verse number 81 where Allah says
10:24وَقُلْ جَعَالْحَقْوَذَاقَ الْبَاطِلِ
10:26إِنَّ الْبَاطِلِ كَانَ هَذُوكَ
10:28وَإِنْ ثُرِثَهَا لَقِنْ فَالسُّوْتِ فَالسُّوْتِ
10:30فَالسُّوْتِ فَالسُّوْتِ
10:31فَالسُّوْتِ فَالسُّوْتِ
10:33وَآخِرُ الدَّوَانَ
