00:007th hole of the Sheffler Henley M. Kim match, uh, Tom Kim makes a lengthy birdie putt gives
00:12a little let's go little chest bump firing up the crowd. Scotty takes a little exception
00:17to that. Uh, he makes his birdie putt and as it's trickling into the hole says, what
00:21about that? I think that was his quote. What about that? And then, uh, and then said, I
00:25think no, after that, or just something to the crowd and you're here, it's a little smattering
00:29of booze. Tom Kim acknowledging that a little bit. And the next hole, the par four, eight,
00:35uh, uh, Tom rolls in a long birdie putt again, kind of gets the crowd going. And then, uh,
00:42Scotty Sheffler walks up to the hole, kind of blocks him from the hole, takes the ball
00:45to the hole and hands it to him behind him without even making eye contact. And then
00:50apparently some jam and Tom Kim, you know, step back both Henley and Scotty Sheffler
00:56have birdie attempts remaining. And, uh, Camilo VJ says, Hey guys, we're just going
01:01to go over to the ninth tee. Uh, which isn't close by the way, not close, like 60 yards
01:06away is what they said on the broadcast. So then both Henley and Sheffler missed those
01:10putts and lose the hole. Apparently Kevin Kisner took a little exception to that move
01:15from Vegas and had some words with him after the fact. So here there, there's a lot of
01:19one unpack your first. I want, first thing I want to do is do you have any on the ground
01:24insider Intel that you can share with us to add a little more color to the story, you
01:28know, further than what we just saw that I just laid out on the broadcast?
01:32No, you actually just explained it perfectly. And I think it was Camilo that, that tried
01:37to get them to, to take a move. And the reason why I'm not a fan of that is because a lot
01:42of times after a big putt, you know, when you're walking to the next tee, that's when
01:47the fans want to get the loudest, you know, that's when they want to be very excited for
01:52you. Like, keep it going, keep that momentum going. And so for them to walk to the tee
01:55for somebody who wasn't there, I don't know if the fans responded at all, you know, just
02:00to create a bit of Russell, but you know, it's always just polite as a, you know if
02:06there's something that happened to come up, especially, you know, it was a must make putts
02:11who didn't matter for them to see the next one.
02:14But it's just more of a respect thing. You know, it's not the end of the world type of
02:19deal. I think, I think Kevin probably just took an exception to it because, uh, you know,
02:25it was a vice captain that probably got the guys to, to take the walk because Tom Kim
02:30and, and so Jay, so I'm just like, all right, whatever. But Tom probably was like, okay,
02:38cool. Yeah. You know, whatever. Um, and my only thing about the Scotty chef for Tom Kim
02:42thing is, you know, I want to try to make this like a, you know, some beef between these
02:50two, but I just know how much these guys like each other. And that's the, the only thing
02:54that's frustrating about this is that I know at the Ryder cup that guys didn't like each
03:02other and that there was genuine dislike for an Ian Poulter, right? Like there was guys
03:08that couldn't stand Patrick Reed on the other side. And so there that's kind of why I think
03:14the Ryder cup, you know, it does, it definitely sings more is because you feel the intensity
03:21that these guys don't like each other. Now, some I've obviously get along, but there's
03:25a few that don't in the president's cup. I just doesn't, I like guys like Tom pushing
03:32the needle and even Camilo trying to get just some games and shit.
